Happy Birthday @maman enjoy the celebrations xx
2lb on isn’t bad @bubbs considering you’ve been in hotel accommodation then away from home, plus the stress of your Dad being poorly. Definitely have a look on the website for some new ideas. I find our meals a bit same-y so am always looking for something a bit different.Weather a balmy 9 degrees today, still a bit windy. Had a coastal walk and a black coffee with speculous biscuit (single wrapped). All within syns 👍🏻Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 20/25 Currently reading Finding Hildasaay by Christian Lewis1 -
Trying to catch up. Had quite an eventful week which involved an unexpected trip to hospital and a barrage of tests - I’m fine and not lifted a finger since Tuesday night. Which also proves DS is a lot more capable than he’d like me think 😂
A pound off for me this morning which I’m happy with. Think we’re twins @bubbs I’m scunnered too with what I eat. I’ve got all the recipe books so no excuses really, just laziness.1 -
Thanks everyone .
Well done Jelly
Jelly hope you are ok x Glad DS has looked after you
I wouldn't say laziness as always cook from scratch and have proper meals. Just inspiration for something different.
I am going to take a piece of pork out the freezer for pulled pork in the slow cooker .
I have made some BNS, Pepper and garlic soup, looks ok so that's some lunches sorted next week and will freeze some , all portioned up in tubs

Well done @Jellybaby 😊
Which book did you win @bubbs?
We’ve had ‘lunch’ - liver, steamed sweet potatoes, sprouts, carrots and broccoli plus Cypriot asparagus which are very thin (like samphire) and quite bitter, but tasted okay.Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 20/25 Currently reading Finding Hildasaay by Christian Lewis1 -

Morning! I’m flying home today but first we are off to Limassol so stepmum can visit the consulate to vote in her country’s election. It’s a 45 minute drive. We will eat there at a fish restaurant chain.En route to Limassol we are visiting Timi market - fruit veg and bric-a-brac. Last time I was here there was a lovely vintage Pyrex dish which I couldn’t fit in my hand luggage. 🤞🏻 It’s still there 🤣
Breakfast was the usual 0% Greek yog, blueberries and a small amount of granola. Will need to get something for the plane later so hoping there’s some fruit at the airport food outlet. Oh and it’s raining again!Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 20/25 Currently reading Finding Hildasaay by Christian Lewis0 -
Morning all, very windy again this morning and there was a short shower earlier and looks like there may well be more coming!
Enjoy your last morning in Cyprus @Coxy11, enjoy your lunch and have a safe trip home. I think you've done amazingly well with food considering you've not had control over it.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F; 2
L - caramelised onion, tomato & mozzarella filo tart, chips, braised lettuce, peas & spring onions - HEA2; S; F; 6.5
D - roast chicken, roasted carrots, parsnips, peppers & onions, mashed swede, cabbage, green beans & peas - P; S; F
(hopefully there will be plenty of LO potatoes and veg to fry up tomorrow!)
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - mozzarella
HEB - none planned
Syns - LF sausages 2; filo 6.5
Have a good day everyone.
