Well done @Gettingtherequickly on the loss.  Another slow loser here.  Good luck on reaching your target this year.  How much do you need to lose to get there?  Have you worked out how much you need to lose each month to achieve it?  (I tend not to work it out weekly as it doesn't come off that way does it?).  I think I've go about another 2 months or so to go before I get back to target.  I'm really hoping I can get back there by beginning of June when I go away for a month as don't want to have to use the rest of my holidays and still pay for one of those weeks!  Fortunately my new holiday year starts July and I've only used 1 week (I think!).

It's colder in Cyprus that it is here @Coxy11!  Hope you actually get your mussels today; I'd have been disappointed not to have had them yesterday as I'm not keen on calamari as, like @maman, I find it a bit chewy.

I have 1 1/2 st to go, but think I may go for a further one, so aiming for ultimate finish at end of November, hoping anyway!

Well done on your pound @Gettingtherequickly. You're obviously toning up and losing inches from the exercise too so well done on your NSV as well.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Using your Apple watch to set yourself targets is obviously working.

I wasn't a particularly slow loser getting to target (averaged 1.5 lbs a week) but I found it really hard close to target weight and still do. Ideally I'd like to lose another 3 lbs to get well down into range, instead of hovering at the top, but even when I have a perfect week I'm lucky to lose a pound. 🤔

Hope you get your mussels today @Coxy11. It's wet here too if that's any consolation. Good idea to pack the baclava away from temptation, that stuff is almost  pure sugar! 😉

We have a 4 bedroomed house @joedenise but, as it's in a conservation area, also has original single glazed wooden windows. I think last year's consumption was probably a bit high too as we've been home a lot more during the various lockdowns but we've saved money in lack of socialising and holidays so it's swings and roundabouts. 🤔

I've done my meal plan and shopping list but don't need much as we're eating out a lot in the coming week and I want to use up the fresh bits I have in.

    Today's EE plan-
B- bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L- sardines (P), leaves, beetroot (S)
D- HM burger (P,S), SW chips (F), mushrooms (possibly garlic with HEA2), green stuff (S)
    Syns- weekend wine😊

Well done on the loss GTQ.

Rained practically all day here including hailstones! Didn’t get above 5 degrees and zero degrees expected tomorrow. On a positive note 😃

I asked for salad instead of bread or chips. Didn’t eat the sauce (white wine and garlic) I also had a Coke Zero and a black coffee with little shortbread biscuit after. That’s my only syns today. Had a hi fi bar about 3pm.

We are eating at home tomorrow - liver and onions with steamed veg and salad. Sunday we are at another fish restaurant and will choose something grilled with salad 👍🏻

That looks delicious @Coxy11. Your family certainly pick some super restaurants. 😋

I was in Farmfoods earlier and Frylight was 2 for £2 again so plenty in my store cupboard now. 😁

Funnily enough it’s the same restaurant as the grilled trout and grilled calamari @maman. They are a Romanian couple and nothing is too much trouble, especially for my Dad. Stepmum is a bit OCD so once she finds a place she likes it becomes a favourite. Mind you, had we not preordered the mussels I would quite happily have stayed home given the weather. Stepmum leant me her waxed coat and wore her (real) mink jacket! The wind just cuts you in two!

I thought Mr Bubbs working on would make your tea late @bubbs. ☹️ Hope you're still awake. 🤣

Monster BNS. I got some YS slices in Sainsburys which I'll freeze. I add them to Bolognese or chilli or love it mixed with potatoes for orange mash. 😊

Assuming you're going to WI tomorrow. 🤔🤞

I got a couple of BNS earlier this week - on Clubcard price at 75p.  No idea what I'm going to do with them yet but it certainly won't be the tagine I made a while back!
