Morning all.  I'd also be curious about the group in Cyprus @Coxy11 but don't think I'd actually go - you're on holiday after all!

Don't even want to think about energy prices right now - we're on a fix till the end of the month and I'm waiting to see what the options are after that 😥  Did another workout this morning and planning on another run this evening but am in that stage where everything is aching 😂  It's not awful but getting up and down the stairs proved a little challenging this morning!   Back in the office tomorrow so will be taking a break from working out.  Had usual ff yogurt with blueberries for breakfast, lunch is going to be poached eggs on toast and dinner is porch chop with roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Afternoon all, a bit chilly this morning but quite sunny although it's clouded over a bit now.

Went to WI this morning and lost a lb!  Pleased with that after the 0.5lb gain last week.    I only need to lose another 0.5lb and I'll have lost 7lb since I started in my new group!  So hoping that I'll at least lose that this week!

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - carrot & lentil soup - P; S; F
    D - liver casserole, mash, cabbage - P; S; F; 0.5?

    HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but may have hifi, toast or crisp breads later!
Syns - cornflour (if needed) 0.5;  will probably have a glass or two of red tonight as DH opened it last night to deglaze the pan when browning the lamb!  Don't know why he couldn't have used a bit of the red wine stock I'd made!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi everyone,

Just back from another coastal path walk. Lucky that there are plenty of different flat walks for DDad. It’s breezy here today so I borrowed a fleece and body warmer from stepmum.

Had 0% Greek yoghurt with strawberries and blueberries for breakfast. Had a Hi Fi bar on the walk plus a black coffee in a little cafe overlooking the sea. Just had a bowl of strawberries and stepmum is doing chicken curry for dinner. She is using half a jar of Pataks paste between 2 of us so I scanned it and syns will be around 7 for my portion! Not planning any other syns though.

Well done on the running @ruby_eskimo and great loss @joedenise. How much more until you’re back in target?

@Coxy11 - considering you've no control over your food you're doing amazingly well!  7 syns isn't too bad, it still leaves you a few if you want to have something else.

I've got another 3.5lb to get back to top end of target so think it's going to take a while yet, especially as I've only got another 2 WIs before I go on holiday.  As we're self catering I'm hoping to not have too much of a gain but that really depends on alcohol consumption and if we eat out but I'm hoping not too often and if we do then I'll hopefully be able to choose something SW friendly.

Yes @joedenise but I’m a bit hungry today. Am drinking water and the odd cup of tea. Syns will be less than 7 as stepmum also having the curry (thought she was having something else). We will
have plain basmati rice plus a nice side salad, so will fill up on that.

TOTM still here so still feeling bloated unfortunately.

Really want to have a loss next week as STS last week 🤞🏻

    That's really great @joedenise.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I was amused at your DH's lame excuse for opening a bottle of wine! 🤣

That's an amazing haul for the refuge @bubbs and such bargains.  Our local food bank was saying that donations seem to be a bit down at the moment, probably because of the focus on Ukraine. Difficult times. I saw Jack Monroe speaking to a House of Commons committee asking for help for vulnerable people and Martin was on TV last night saying that anyone who doesn't earn £30K is going to feel the pinch. People need mse more than ever now. ☹

It's so good that your family is being supportive of SW @Coxy11. You're doing so well. 😊

Rather an odd day's food today. I had to see the doctor early so instead of breakfast I had a sandwich. I'm feeling quite slim so 🤞🏼 for WI tomorrow as we're out for lunch, out again on Saturday evening and then away for a couple of days next week so if I'm out of target range tomorrow then I'll stay that way for a few weeks probably. 🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- ham salad sandwich (HEB, S,P), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- fried eggs, ham (P), leaves and mushrooms (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan

Just back from Morries.  Went to pick up a TGTG bag, also wanted about 3 things so decided we might as well pick them up while we were there.  I wanted some potatoes and their packs of jackets were 29p so picked up a few packs, cheaper than buying a 2.5Kg bag!

Also picked up some mini pork pies, rolls, bagels for DH.  Bag of WM rolls for me.   Pork pies were 62p; rolls were 10p and 7p a bag!  Plenty of rolls in the freezer now!

No idea if there was any sweet stuff as didn't look!
