Well done @Coxy11. That's a great loss! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ I've not tried the Tikka but the Aldi Slimwell Jalfrezi is nice. Although it's basically a sauce made from Speed, I generally do some mushrooms alongside too.

Another good day yesterday @Its_time.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Do try to have a bit more Speed though as, although averaging across the day works, a side salad and an apple may not be enough.ย

Glorious day here, hope everyone else is enjoying their Saturday. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
    L- ham, fried egg (P), bubble % squeak (F,S)
D- HM burger (P,S), SW chips (F), carrot chips, fried onions, side salad (S)
    Syns- weekend wine๐Ÿ˜Š

    @maman I forgot I had a nectarine as wellย
I do struggle with speed though, tonight for example I am going to have wedges and bacon, I was going to have beans but I am having mushrooms instead.ย ย
I am popping to Lidl tomorrow so I can pick up some beetroot and pickled onions. I was going to get some satsumas but the pack I had from Tesco were dry.
    So today:
Breakfast weetabix 6 syns, semi skimmed milk HEA and banana
Dinner: scrambled egg on toast (2 eggs) hovis nimble HEB, an apple and a banana as I was hungry.
Tea will be bacon, wedges and mushrooms, I'd like some beans but I am not sure if that would be helpful or not, I would also do an egg but i've already had 2 today :0
Snacks 2 rich tea biscuits 4 syns, two sugars in coffees so 2 syns.
    Syns 12
    Weigh day tomorrow

Don't be put off having things you fancy that are on plan @Its_time. Have your beans and egg with your meal and plenty of mushrooms. You could have fried onions too. ๐Ÿค” Or have pears or other Speed fruit to balance off the lack of vegetables. Pickles are great idea. I eat loads, especially beetroot and I love Lidl's pickled cornichons. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Hi all, another STS for me. Iโ€™ve said Iโ€™ll plod on as itโ€™s my birthday next week and Iโ€™m out for two lunches and a dinner so will actually be quite happy if I maintain next week!ย

Food shop done and fridge is brimming with veg and fruit bowl is heaped. I eat loads of pickled onions so have bought a couple of jars of aldi ones to try.

Burgers here too for dinner with wedges and roasted mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. A couple of gins later using 6 syns.

Afternoon all, absolutely beautiful day today, bright sunshine but a bit chilly in the breeze. ย Had a few hours in Folkestone and stopped at a pub for lunch, unfortunately it was chips with everything! ย I only ate about 6 of them, had 3 pieces of gammon, egg, pineapple, 1 onion ring (gave DH the others), tomato and peas. ย Going to syn it at 10 which I think should cover it.

Great loss @Coxy11, weโ€™ll done. ย Definitely ease up with the syns because if youโ€™re too strict then youโ€™ll have nowhere to cut back if you plateau.

You are doing really well @Its_time. ย Good luck with weigh in tomorrow.

Enjoy your burgers tonight. ย I need to buy some pork and beef mince but planning on having a go again now my burger press has arrived!

  • Had a lovely day out with my Husband, we had a drive out to Stroud Farmers market, thought we'd stock up on some veg but was rather expensive ยฃ3 for a cauliflower so gave that a miss.ย

My resolve was tested was the sheer amount of bread, pastries and baked goodies, we did come away with two lovely loaves but I can limit myself to just a slice.ย

We got blown away on the common, but had a good walk, then found a cafe for lunch, I went for beans on toast with mushrooms and tomatoes sure the mushrooms were cooked in oil so will limit my syns for the rest of the day.ย

Been on plan all week and slightly more active so hoping it's not another STS Mondayย

Afternoon all, lost the rubber pound again! Was hoping for more as had a lower carb week with a bit more fruit than usual.
Plus a Lot more exercise as walked to work as well as dog walks.

I know itโ€™s better than a gain but really hoped for more ๐Ÿฅบ.

Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Oh, quick question I meant to ask, does anyone here suffer with PCOS and if so how do you find SW?ย
I've traditionally had to exercise a lot to lose weight and diet alone has had limited impact alone. Not sure if this is still the case for me but interested to see how it fares for others?

I do plan to be more active but struggle for timeย
