  • Surprised to lose 1/2lb last night, hopefully that will be a good start for this week.

Hugs for a good day & weekend for everyone.

Morning all, bright this morning and forecast to stay like this for the weekend, although of course it's going to be cold.  Looking forward to getting away this afternoon for a couple of days.  DH is playing golf this morning with an early start so should be home in time for lunch for a change!

Motorhome is more or less packed although need to put in a few last minute things like bread, butter, cheese and the open carton of milk!

    Today's plan:

    B - fruit and yoghurt - P; S; F
    L - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
    D - savoury mince & beans; mash; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - probably hifi bar or maybe some Ryvita with a bit of Primula
    Syns - weekend wine

Not sure if I'll be posting tomorrow but will probably get back on Sunday once I get home!

    Have a good day everyone.

The cartons I buy come with a screw cap!  Lidl's own UHT skimmed milk.

We started using UHT milk all the time after struggling to get fresh milk in France unless we got to the SM before about 9am - not easy when you're nowhere near a SM and on holiday so don't even know where the nearest one is!  It's completely different now as it seems a lot of the French have discovered that fresh milk is nice and SMs now have fresh milk well into the day but we've decided it's actually much more convenient to use UHT as just pick up a box of 12 litres when we go to Lidl!

Morning all, need to catch up with all the posts.  Not had the best of weeks for various reasons but just plodding along as there's nothing else for it!  I'm not holding out much hope for weigh in tomorrow but have the outline of a menu plan for next week so will be ready for the food shop.

Today is finishing off bits and pieces from the fridge and freezer - French onion soup for lunch and bacon, tomato and chilli spaghetti for dinner with parmesan.  I may roast green beans and cauliflower as they need used up, will see how I feel later.

    Hope everyone is doing OK.

Ahh!  Had the day from hell, need to think what to do so that I don't syn. Doing curry for dinner, so will hopefully not be tempted afterwards.
