I can see why your dad is reluctant to go back into hospital @bubbs, especially that they can't seem to feed him properly. But you're right that he can't keep going on like this.☹
It's been lovely and sunny here too with just the occasional shower.
I've been to your favourite Company Shop today.😁 I had quite a few good buys but the best were beef medallions (that I use for HB steak) at half price so about £1.40 a pack depending on weight and M&S grapefruit squash that I drink every day at 60p a bottle. I got half price 5% Waitrose pork mince too, also half price, so I'll be joining in the burger fest when I get some minced beef to go with it tomorrow. Tesco FF cottage cheese was 40p and Flora Light which DH has was 75p. All good.😁
Well done for getting back on track @MrsRyan. It's been a hard couple of weeks for you. I'm sure your new outfits will cheer you up. It's a boost to see spring clothes appearing in the shops. Promise of things to come. 😊
Today's EE plan-
B- bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), beetroot (S)
D- liver (P), mash (F), runner beans, cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
Syns - HM gravy? I usually count this as 4 from fattier meat joint but I think liver will be less as just 1 tbsp of cornflour and not fatty.2 -
Some good bargains there @maman! Particularly good were the pork mince as it was 5% - I often have trouble finding that in Tesco when I'm looking for it; 5% beef is never a problem. The beef medallions were a great price too. Does that mean it's HB braised steak for dinner on Sunday now?, LOL!
I don't think I'd syn your gravy for more than 0.5 syn (1 syn split between you) as liver is definitely not fatty.

Well done Maman hope you got stocked up? i would have bought a few of each,
I said to my new neighbour i would take her when i come back, it's weird as have known her years but lost touch then when she was looking at next door was so surprised . Last time i went i got her loads.
Yes i understand that Maman and think i would feel the same but SOMETHING is wrong, 1 1/2 stone loss in 5 weeks and always on the loo. He has also been told to take 6 laxto drinks , think it's called a day and he is reluctant as always on the loo now. Him and Mum have come to a comprise 4 a day. Mum said they are having to pay for this and incontinence pads, which are expensive and they buy 4 packs a week! 😱 i told her to ring the doctors and ask for them on prescriptionSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Definitely something wrong. That's a lot of weight to lose in such a short time.
That's absolutely disgusting that they are having to pay! Definitely sounds like they ought to be available on prescription.1 -
I know Denise! He is eating though he said to Mum he didn't want anything yesterday but ate a plate full of meat and veg 😂

It's been a dry day here today and dragged the children out to the "sea side" wasn't very mse for as I gave them money to spend on the pier, but was mse for them as they bought home more than expected. I don't give pocket money as a rule but glad they watch what they spend.
The day did feel a bit marred as I flicked through the headlines and saw the latest on Russia. You worry enough about your children and their future and I don't like the situation at the moment and how it's all going to play out.
Food wise, it was a but pants, the boys had chips and my Daughter and I thought we'd be able to get something healthy, no such luck. I had fish goujons planned to pick the batter off which I did or tried to but it was the greasiest plate of food I think I've ever been served. There wasn't even a bit of salad to go with.
On the plus side, I didn't feel I was missing out as the boys had chips, ice cream and sweets etcMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Hi all,
I went into the London office today - my set day each week - and it was lashing with rain, cold and windy at 7.30am! I wrapped up with a bobble hat, scarf, umbrella and walked really fast to the station - even had to run for the train - body magic yay! Didn't even listen to the radio as left DH in bed - felt a right idiot when colleagues were talking about Russia/Ukraine.
Shouldn't have bothered going in as couldn't connect to the govt wifi and even the IT team couldn't help me, so I stayed until 1.30pm waiting for a miracle, then then got a 2pm train home. I took my laptop in a back pack with all my food, snacks and drinks, cutlery and crockery. Honestly felt like I was leaving home!
Food today:
B - overnight oats with mullerlight and frozen cherries - B, 0.5
L - leftover Mexican chicken and rice - F, S
D - bolognaise bake, F, HEA for mozzarella
Snacks - hi fi bar, grapes, crabsticks (not together) - F, 3
HEA - milk
Syns - 3.5
So sorry to hear you've been feeling low Mrs_Ryan - sending you a big virtual hug. I too have the issue with what to wear to the office. Luckily it's only one day a week and I'm not in for the next two weeks as boss out next week, and I'm in Cyprus the following week. I have a wardrobe full of office wear that hasn't seen the light of day for 2 years....
bubbs - so sorry your Dad is going through the mill. Bad that he can't get the basics on prescription - do pursue it as must be a mistake.
annabanana - I can't eat anything deep fried now - just makes me so ill. Very jealous of your dry day!
beanie - OMG so much snow! Stay safe!
Have a good evening all,

Anna I am sure the children had a good time, where did you go?
I know it's very scary with Russia, this will be DH'S new thing to be glued too, when Covid first hit well until recently he was glued to it. I think he is on the spectrum how he fixates on things.
Shame out the food, even it was naughty and you enjoy iy, but being horrible and naughty is 😫
When we went Tesco DH was drooling in the chocolate aisle, i said just get something if you want it, Do you want any he said, i said NO 😜😜
Just had tea , chciken and mushroom curry 2 syns, egg fried cauli rice and half dozen chipsSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0
