£30 for me in March which brings my overall total to 3 figures! 3 came yesterday courtesy of the window cleaner, eggs and bingo!
Ah, another bingo fan!  I'm off tomorrow night, and of course Tuesday, but I must win this week as I've had to top my bingo money bag up due to not winning anything lately  :(.

Well done on hitting 3 figures!  I put mine (when I bank) into premium bonds, although today on results day, I got the usual 'sorry' word so no increase for me this month.  Still, it's my little savings pot so always worth putting the money away.

Lets hope April is as good for you as March was.

Received a Gunpowder Plot £2 today in supermarket change, & it has the printing error on it, "Pemember" instead of " Remember" 😅 Selling on ebay at all prices up to £499!
However some are just £5 or so lol. I never understand how some fetch massive prices and others go for next to nothing lol. Mine will stay with my other commerative ones😅
Well done on getting the rare coin - like you say though, it's hard to understand the prices some of these coins go for.  I've got the Northern Ireland commonwealth games coin which I keep separate from all other coins.  It's the most rare coin to get according to change checker, and they regularly go for £30 on the e shop, but I won't part with it just yet.

Well done Veebree - they are out there somewhere.  You are nearly in double figures, then it seems (well for me anyway) to suddenly ramp up and they seem to turn up everywhere!  I'm lucky in that my corner shop knows I save them so they often ask me if I want any - and I have to hope I've got enough cash with me  :D.

Still having no luck at all with Mr T self service - I'm starting to think that they aren't putting them in the machines now.

Hello everyone, I'm so sorry I've not posted for a while, but haven't you all been busy!? I've just banked a little haul of 4 plain but pretty little twos bringing my total to £52 which for the first quarter of the year leaves me right on track to hit my yearly target of £200. I'm also having minimal results at Mr. T's self-service machines and minimal wins on the bingo! But luckily my friends and family are coming through for me! And of course I'll be off to the bingo again tonight as we continue to live in hope! The Premium Bonds haven't been delivering for me either (but I will still get excited for that little moment tomorrow!)

Keep up the good work, team! xxx

Youngest brought me a cup of tea and asked if I wanted this - and held up a £2 coin! Swapped it and crooned at him - must reward cooperation, let alone tea!

March total is just 1 £2 coin, a plain one at that.

Well, for a collector of £2 coins, my week has been the stuff dreams are made of! With 4 from my lovely office buddy, 2 from my ever-giving Tiny Bro, 2 from the self-service till at Mr. T's (for the first time EVER!) and 2 more in change in other places, I've just potted my beautiful haul of 10! I even had a fancy one - Florence Nightingale from the Bro. My tin is very happy and so am I - my total has shot up to £72 and I'm feeling much more confident that I might actually be able to reach my goal this year! Thank you world! xxx

The lady at customer services was willing to change my nuggets into a £2 coin but didn't think she had any - then found me one buried! Plain but welcome.
  • I received 4 golden coins yesterday! Have they suddenly been released into the tills again for Easter??!
