Fantastic news about the white goods and other fixtures and fittings. It will make moving in easier.
All the best for the funeral. Having caught covid at the funeral I went to - I'd recommend wearing a mask - I planned to but didn't and regretted it.
Glad you can work from home at least one of the days next week and that you have clawed back an hour off your commute and things are settling down for you again.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

well done DIA - I really don't know where you find the time to be so awesome
I think you are doing the right thing with your work life balance - spend what it takes to survive the initial shock and then work out what you can do without once your feet have been found
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Dia, you are sounding really in the swim! Hope the funeral goes as well as it can; I agree with @savingholmes (when don't I?!) re wearing a mask. Funerals seem to be a hot transmission opportunity. Keep going; you're doing brilliantly love Humdinger xx4

Apart from the funeral hanging over you, everything sounds great and upbeat .
Hope that goes as well as it can .
Monday and Tuesday are the worst days forcast for weather 🥵. If there is a way of avoiding work for those 2 days , take it .You'll cope with anything anyway ..Luckily I am not in the office today and tomorrow.

- Eat the M0nz0 frog so I can organise my spends
- Chase labels for returns
- Book tickets for travel next month
I did other things not on the list- Left a message with the EA to check good/bad times to have the survey done
- Left a message with surveyors
- Got a date from a friend to come to a second viewing with me
I received the parcel labels and posted the parcels this morning. I shopped for veggies and water. Water has doubled in price if it is available at all. Profiteering...It was hot but bearable early this morning.
I was invited to a BBQ, a market, and also I was due to visit family this weekend. I didn't do any of that. I stayed cool and stayed home instead.
The rest of the day I will be staying in!
I hope you all stay cool

Grab a large cold drink and deal with that frog, he's getting fatter!
