I'm glad the funeral went well.

Good luck with the PADs, it should build up a nice buffer for you. Good that the house is progressing as well.

Have a lovely relaxing weekend :)

Can you budget for counseling, maybe every 4 - 6 weeks, while you figure out alternative options, settle in to your job and move house. Things will be calmer when your purchase goes through.

The job will get easier, for the moment it's an information dump and slowly bits click, parts make sense and it begins to fall into place.

    Weekend plans sound ideal!
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

    Glad the funeral went well.

Well done for sticking it out with the job.

I second paying for counselling - at least once a month if you can. I appreciate your funds are very tight currently.

Yesterday I chased a railway who should have just paid after a delay. A 2 hour delay no less! Everything sent but weeks later they write saying they will close my case if I don't reply in 7 days. It was already OOD. What case? I called them in a rage. The shock was they answered almost straight away and also they agreed with me and paid the money there and then into my account. I had nearly let that go, glad I did not...

I bought my coffee mug/flask. It was expensive but very well made, the right size and leakproof. I already love it. It will take a fortnight to pay for itself.

I bought the stuff I need for lunches. My new plan is lunch in the park followed by a visit to my fave CS

Today I have a wash on and I am sorting outfits for the week ahead

I am expecting a call from abroad from a lovely friend

I am going to the car boot sale with the person I stay with later.

I keep worrying about having enough money for all I need to do so I am going to set up a few spreadsheets so instead of worrying I can look at the spreadsheets to ease my mind.

I hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

Spreadsheets can be soothing if done well. Remember all your annual bills too.

Glad you found a flask you liked.

Your other plans sound positive too.

Great news about the compensation and finding a nice coffee cup.  A two week payback makes it a very good investment!
