It will make a huge difference. At the moment you've a long commute (physical), while learning a lot of new information (mental), it's not surprising you're wiped out.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4

Thanks both
At this time I am usually nearing the end of my commute. Nice to be having a cup of tea and catching up here instead.
I asked for a day WFH and it was agreed starts in a fortnight. My boss expressed disappointment as they wanted me in every day for the first few months. My argument was going from no days WFH to 3 days WFH would be too big a jump. So, they are now reviewing the 3 day request! after saying it would be fine. If 3 days turns to contractually agreed 2 I will accept it for a few months until I have worked out my finances. All good. I no longer feel stressed about it. The end is in sight (hopefully)
A hard week but I have progressed hugely and no longer feel panicked and incompetent. The manager is quite controlling and micromanages, but knowledgeable and basically a good person. I can work with those qualities for a bit.
I have chased a financial issue that I need sorted to purchase the house.
I asked the EA to act as an intermediary for some items left they want to negotiate on. My solicitor need not be bothered and the EA is free to use.
This weekend is busy. I have trainers to pick up from Mr W. Then I will have a coffee and pick up bits and pieces as well as use send out birthday cards for my August born friends.
I will be going to stay at one of my relative's glamorous place for the weekend this weekend. There are family events on Sunday and then again Monday.
I feel a bit shabby so will buy the bits and pieces for a manicure and pedicure. I will do a facial too. I will do them from the luxury of the glamorous place!
Wishing everyone a good weekend

I hope they don't go back on the previously agreed 3 days. Adjusting to someone else's schedule and exact way of doing things, is never easy, at least things are falling into place.
Whatever is agreed via the EA, let the solicitor know as they'll have to be included in the contract to make it legally binding.
Have a wonderful time!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
I hope you still get the three days. Glad things are getting easier though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

good luck - even one day WFH will make a big difference. Wednesday is a good choice as office/everything tends to be busier so best avoided. Then you can start the week fresh and get a midweek boost and then its Friday, and everyone can do one day!!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine2 -
I always think that Wednesday is a good day as then you only ever have to travel for 2 days before you get a day off3
