    It will make a huge difference. At the moment you've a long commute (physical), while learning a lot of new information (mental), it's not surprising you're wiped out.

    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £26.8K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.2K) = 32.6/£127.5K target 25.6% 13/9/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 54.5K or 42.7%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise)
    (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)
    5) SIPP £4.8K updated 13/9/25

    I hope they don't go back on the previously agreed 3 days. Adjusting to someone else's schedule and exact way of doing things, is never easy, at least things are falling into place.

    Whatever is agreed via the EA, let the solicitor know as they'll have to be included in the contract to make it legally binding.

    I hope you get your 3 days WFH as well DIA . At least when you move house you can take stock and decide which way you want your life to go . You will have the security of a permanent home .

    good luck - even one day WFH will make a big difference.  Wednesday is a good choice as office/everything tends to be busier so best avoided.  Then you can start the week fresh and get a midweek boost and then its Friday, and everyone can do one day!!

    Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • I always think that Wednesday is a good day as then you only ever have to travel for 2 days before you get a day  off
