Paydays best day of the month ;) 2 weeks off mine...

Glad things are moving with the house even if more slowly than you'd like.

    Great news on YS haul.

Glad you are ok.  Sorry to hear work is tough, but well done for taking a break and sticking with it for now.

    Thanks  @jwil and @savingholmes.
Thanks @WelshmansDaughter...the job is hard partly because I promised myself creative freedom after the death of my relative... the job won't be forever...

So today I spent 4 hours travelling in total. Dead, stressful time wasting...I do feel annoyed but trying to keep my frustrations under control. So far I have been able to 'talk myself down' from my sod it reflex...

I am applying for a 2 day and remote post. I'm not 100% confident I meet all the spec but giving it a go. Deadline Friday so need to do 50% of job spec tonight, same tomorrow. CV more or less ready. It makes me feel better to do something about my job situation even if it comes to nothing...

House wise, I received paperwork for L3 survey when I want a L2. I can pay extra for a valuation but not sure I want one...will call the surveyors tomorrow...

I spoke to my old CU. After my next payday I will apply for a loan. I will save with them again until then. They are great but very hard to get through to but that is not important right now.

I also chased an email from the sellers, I haven't actually received, despite it being referred to.

Tired again. Struggled to get out off the house today. Off to do half of the spec for the job.

    Hope everyone is ok.

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

Your sod it is a lot politer than mine!

It's a long commute, can you find something to fill your time so it's not such a 'waste', whether it's listening to podcasts, doodling or writing plans / ideas of things to do the weekend.

Good luck with the application. Dig deep and find a transferable skill to closer match the ones you don't, but not having 100% isn't always an issue.

Thanks MF. I can see what you mean but too tired emotionally and physically to relax. Also the journey is crowded and unpleasant. Eyes on the prize...
