Glad to read you've survived and succeeded with tech challenges. Maybe over time work will agree to WFH as it makes such a massive difference in time. 🤞🤞

I think being kind to yourself during such a stressful and exhausting week is essential. Sorry to read clothes no good either but best to return quickly. The scarf sounds like a real bargain.

Sun is shining here so hope it is where you are too and you can have a relaxing weekend.

Glad it's gone ok and there are some good wins in there as well as challenges!

I hope work will allow WFH sometimes - even 1 or 2 days will make a big difference.

Hi @doingitanyway, hope you don't mind me popping in.

Glad your first week went ok, but totally empathise with the 'not really what I want to be doing with my time' feeling. Working and commuting is tiring. Personally I don't recover in anywhere near the time I did when I was younger, so I've had to accept that I need to spend some extra money for timesaving and convenience at the moment.

I think maybe you're doing this for a short term aim, though, (? - sorry if I'm wrong) so keep your eyes on the prize, and make it as easy on yourself as possible.

Excellent find on the scarf
  • Great start to a daunting week DIA 😼👍
Don't worry about the coffees  ☕️. It's all part of your new routine for now .
No news is good news imho regarding the Hse . Fingers crossed as usual 🤞
As for the keypad , fleabay might come in handy .There are lots of refurbs on there with guarantees .  It may not sound mse , but Bluetooth/ cordless the way to go .

    I'll leave it there ..😼
