I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get your first choice, wishing you luck with the bungalow. I loved the first house I offered on. The vendor reminded me of my dad, his wife had passed away and he was moving in with his daughter. Then he had a stroke, the property was withdrawn and my plans totally changed to a different area to be nearer my dad. Fate, destiny, meant to be? I don’t know but I have grown to love my new home & I’m sure you will make the bungalow your own.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sorry to hear about the house. Hopefully you'll get a good response from the bungalow."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

We live in a dormer bungalow but after 20 years we are looking for a full bungalow due to dh falling down the stairs and my knee causing problems coming down stairs.
Not sure how old you are but have a think about future proofing your next property especially if you don't plan on moving again.6 -

Sorry the house never worked out.
With the bungalow would it be possible, financially viable, to have the loft converted, with a dorma?
As everyone else has said you're future-proofing by not having stairs, there's plenty of walking / beautiful places to visit which would keep you mobile / active. Therefore, keep that open mind when having another viewing.
You have grown a lot since we first "met", a strong mind has formed and great ideas / plans made.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I hope that the bungalow price is reasonable - within your budget - if that's your favoured one.

Belated welcome back DIA.
Don't have anything to add on the house discussion as well, I think very differently to most people on well, everything.
But I'm sorry that you're having a hard time with it all. The pain sounds horrible.2 -

I''m so sorry that you didn't get your first choice of home. On reflection, did the bungalow jump to No.1 or do you still have reservations? It does sound like you could make it a lovely home if that's the one you can see yourself living in for the foreseeable future.
I hope you've also been able to move forward on managing your pain. It's shocking how much that can bring someone down when there's such a regular pain issue going on. Wishing you well doingitanyway.Debt on 01 July 2022 = £42,083.00
