HOUSE
So, two conversations with the EA today. The first was a bit tetchy despite my efforts to keep it light. I got bored by her explanation as to why she hadn't been in contact. Apparently she thought I was calling her, and then...blah, blah. I did manage to ask @mark55man how much it would take to remove it from the market. It was a good question because she had no answer. The vendors had not given her a figure and she was clearly frustrated by it. Annoyed even. She said she would talk to them again and come back. She did. They have another five viewings, four at the weekend and another one on Tuesday. She will speak to me after that.
The vendors have turned down one offer (presumably lower than mine) Despite six viewings the only offer was lower than mine. So, let's see what the next six viewings bring up. I have a feeling the EA may stop taking viewings after Tuesday?
I still like the bungalow but can't fit in another visit until after 15th as I am away next week. Hopefully the first choice house will be resolved one way or another by then. I don't think the bungalow will go (hopefully not) until they drop the price so I should be ok for a second visit after 15th
MSE
I finally set up a separation with my main account from discretionary spending. From now on I have £100 a week for small spends and food. This will stop me using my main account so often for small ticket items. Even I have tired of using money so often
HEALTH
Still in a lot of pain and it is making me grumpy. I bought a yoga mat as I have found yoga stretches really helpful. More helpful than any meds or rub-in creams. I forced myself to do lots of walking today. I have been doing morning yoga but will add a night session now I have my matit might help with my sleep
After calling at 8am and holding for 50 minutes I spoke to a receptionist at what sounded like a call centre?! GP did not call me back despite being sent a text from the surgery to say they would call in the morning. I will contact them again on Monday. Sigh.
Hope everyone is ok

The vendors sound like a right pain in the rear! I hope they sort out what they want (i.e. your offer!)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

So frustrating for you, and I suspect for the EA too, who after all this time and effort, at the end of the day just wants the commission. You have to ask yourself if the greedy seller is the reason it fell through last time. You certainly won't get the opportunity to negotiate if the survey picked up anything from what you have said.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Current rules are £10k and it can all be taken as a tax free lump sum, you can do up to 3 pots if old enough.
The sellers are being very daft as they'll lose potential buyers playing games.
Hope the pain eases soon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

A bad night. Lots of writhing pain. Not good. Not good at all. I did yoga this morning on a new yoga mat. I had been doing it on a towel.
I am going to get a quote from a recommended acupuncturist. Apparently, it can be helpful. I'm willing to give any drug-free option a try.
I will be trying ending my days with golden milk (turmeric, ginger, honey and coconut milk) very anti inflammatory but tasty and comforting at the very leastSo off to buy the ingredients today.
Using transport seems to be aggravating nerves in my back, so I will be staying local and walking everywhere. I plan on buying some magnesium salts and having a deep bath later. The newspapers and a coffee out will feature too. I have a face mask so I will be using that later.
I have the house to myself tonight and tomorrow morning. I will enjoy the peace and quiet.
Wishing you all a lovely Saturday
