Hello doingitanyway. I'm so sorry to hear about the pain you're still experiencing. It's sounding pretty positive on the house hunting though. As I've read a few pages in one go I really noticed how you were initially sounding very excited about the bungalow but that lowered with the wish of this house that's come back onto the market. I'm irritated with the sellers as they know you're a valid buyer and there are so many houses around my area selling and then falling through that it's not just about who offers the most right now. A house near me has been sold 4 times and is up for sale again now! The seller has been trying to sell for 2 years and is really frustrated with the whole process. Her house sale has fallen through by people having a house to sell that also fell through along the way. You as a buyer eliminate that risk immediately with not having to hope a sale goes through from your side and therefore being a very reliable link in any chain. Also the sellers of "your new house" must have also lost out on a home they were hoping for too. So I'm keeping everything crossed that the sellers of the house you want now realise this and see you as the better option that you are, even if you're a few thousand under the higher offer.
I hope your pain becomes manageable again and that you're finding it easier to give up sugar than I currently am.

try and get on the EA's good side, ask them frankly what the seller would accept to take it off the market. Not committing you to anything but their mood may have changed (as you suggest) now the viewings are out of the wayI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine3 -
Fingers crossed and good advice from M55M.
When you do get to see the bungalow, which I'd suggest you do even if your offer is accepted on the house, try to combine it with a beach walk or whatever is in the area. Clear your head and mind.

Thanks @jwil and @Chrystal for the positive vibes
Thanks @DaisyCheerings. I agree with everything you have said and I am irritated too! The seller BTW is selling chain free as they are putting everything in a sealed container. They had to unload their container when the sale fell through. However they are not at risk of losing a home they are trying to buy. The sellers are tricky people and I would rather not do business with them at all, but I do like the house so I am 'sucking it up' as the Americans say
Thanks @mark55man, unfortunately I did not get to speak to the EA today, so had no opportunity to do as you suggested
Thanks @MovingForwards, I am surprisingly relaxed, eating well(ish) and moving well. I am enjoying yoga especially
TODAY
Pain report
Ironically, I was feeling so well after a pain-free sleep with no meds. The mattress topper was a revelation and I would recommend one. It is surprising the difference it made. Anyway, today I made a train journey and the motion jolted me and now my back is sore again. So, my pain-free period was short lived. I walked to the station and tonight I will attempt another session of gentle yoga.
House report
The EA did not call. I did not call them either. I feel I am being played with (as I was last time) I have just sent an email asking to be called before they go home. (I am not holding my breath) I expect they will stall until next week hoping to have more viewings over the weekend. I have just been sent an out of the office response but it was delayed by a few minutes rather than immediate. Disappointing, but not surprising. I worded an email that was cross so I deleted it. It is good to have this space to vent as I am trying my best as @mark55man suggested to keep them on side...although in reality my contempt for the EA and the vendors is growing...

A very low PB 'win'
Going to push the savings this month. I want to put away between 500 at a minimum but would prefer it to be 750 if at all possible.
I found an old pension account with 150 in it. I will post on the pensions board as it might be a good thing to keep it open to save into for the tax relief?
I am a bit sore this evening so won't be doing much of anything
Hoping everyone has an enjoyable evening

Sorry to hear you haven't heard back, and glad the mattress topper helped even if it didn't last, hopefully it will help the pain ease a little sooner."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hope the EA pulls their finger out their.... and you hear something this week.
Public transport has a habit of doing that, however, you now know what works and can quickly undo the damage.
Re pension, depends if the benefits offered match what you need / want. Might be worth keeping as a 'small pot', add bits in with a view to keeping it under £10k; assuming the rules don't change by the time you want to draw on it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

The bungalow is still a goer. It is my second option. I'm currently thinking I should have a second viewing, but can't do that until after April 15thMovingForwards said:Hope the EA pulls their finger out their.... and you hear something this week.

Re pension. Are you saying if the amount invested stays under 10k I can draw it out at any time?Skint_yet_Again said:Sorry to hear that the pain free didn’t last.
