Soup sounds a great option.
Hope your pain improves soon. Hope you manage to boost your step count - but there's evidence to say even 4000 steps make a difference. Currently I'm barely at 2000 steps. Definitely need to improve. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

So today I saw one property, the one that came back on the market. There were six other viewings at the house and I was number 3. Fair to say it is a popular house. The vendor was there as well as the estate agent. It is my preferred option. It is the house I've thought about most since losing it. It has lots of potential and is in the exact right spot. The layout is good. I am pretty sure it will go to sealed bids.
I was unable to see the bungalow, as there wasn't an EA to show it to me. I will need to make a new arrangement, but I was tired and peed off, so I will tackle that tomorrow. This is a second choice but it also has potential and I would be able to make it work. The bungalow would need a price reduction as it needs work to be done for me to be comfortable to live in it.
The longer my house hunt goes on the more people in RL think they can advise on what would be best for me. The type of house, the areas I am choosing and so on. Today it was suggested I buy their friend's house. This house isn't where I want to live! They mean well. I need to get myself out of this situation so if the boomerang house goes to sealed bids I need to try very hard to get it. Likewise, I need to view the bungalow and make an offer so it can be ruled in or out.
I thought Easter would be the time lots of properties came on the market. There doesn't seem much that is suitable for me coming on the market.
Pain-wise, I had very little pain last night and slept through. Today it started again for half an hour but I took a few painkillers and it seems fine now. I am definitely experiencing shorter frequencies of pain. I am also taking painkiller twice in a 24 hour period when once it was 4Xs
I hope everyone has had a good day

Glad the pain is improving.
It's good that the house still feels right for you and I hope it all comes through for you. It must be very frustrating getting the unsolicited advice, even if it's meant with good intentions."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". DIA glad the pain has improved. I can very well imagine what concerned friends and relatives are suggesting. Sounds frustrating and stressful.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank you @savingholmes it is frustrating and stressful.
Today, was a good day as I slept the night through without being disturbed by pain. I took no pain meds today. I used some natural balm, that was mostly psychological, but at least gave me a little massage. I did 20 minutes of yoga that felt really good to do. Afterwards my body was much more relaxed, so hopefully tonight will be ok too. I don't have a mat, so used a towel on the floor.
I picked up my mattress-topper. Looking forward to using it tonight to improve my sleeping experience. It is a natural wool with cotton cover so breathable.
House-wise I was actually contacted by the EA for feedback on my viewing and to check I was still interested. That was a surprise and I wonder if all the viewings (six) were fruitful. I kept it casual and said I was still interested and the visit had confirmed my original feelings about the house. I suggested the EA might want to contact me tomorrow to check-in. I got an email straight back saying she is speaking with the vendors today and will call me tomorrow.
We shall see...
I hope everyone is ok
