Woke up this morning with pain, but less pain and I last night I slept. I did not stay awake due to constant pain like the night before. I had manageable pain so could sleep. It was broken sleep but sleep, and I was thankful for it. I was reading another diary where the diarist had been in constant pain for decades. I felt for her. I will be starting lifestyle changes to get a handle on this condition (as much as I can)
On that note, at 1pm I will be finishing a 24 hour fast (yah, boo, sucks to Rishi)
I won't be doing that all the time obvs.
I generally like breakfast, lunch and not eating of an evening.
But, also skipping breakfast then breaking fast with soup at noon, and stopping eating later suits me.
There's evidence that our circadian rhythms prefer us not to be stuffing our faces when the sun has gone down, so maybe switching in the summer to later eating might be worth a go?
Anyway, I went for a walk (despite pain as it keeps blood flowing to the troublesome area) It is snowing and SO pretty!
I had a message from the EA thanking me for my patience. Actually my patience is zero so no thanks required!!!!
Off to make a post of tea.

So the EA has come back.
Apparently they have quite a few viewings booked in that they do not want to cancel.
They also think it is a high risk as I haven't seen the property since October. They are not willing to consider my offer unless I view again.
Last time they had 3 offers on the table and went to final bids. I lost out there and they obviously want the same scenario again. I don't blame them.
However, last time I was strung along for a week. They even said the wife was out of contact with the husband as he was working away.
I kept my voice as light and breezy as possible and agreed to go for a viewing next Tuesday.
I'm hoping a few other properties come on that I can view at the same time.
This new development opens the door to other buyers. You can see now why I am not sharing this with anyone in RL until I have an offer accepted somewhere!
Just thinking...
There is another possibility that I viewed recently. It is a bungalow built in the 1800s. It is terraced and behind a beautiful sandstone wall. Hard to describe but lovely windows, space and light. High ceilings and nice details like original picture rails. So far so good. Downsides? Garden all concreted over and general air of neglect. BUT it could be a beauty especially if the floors (currently carpeted/linoed) are found to be decent. Thinking of viewing again and finding a way to see the floors. It might be worth a cheeky offer as it is chain-free and sitting empty.

Mmmm - very tricksy - be careful. Whilst you can't blame them for wanting the most they can get - that behaviour may make the purchase difficult. But that said - dealing with them is a one off, hopefully not too prolonged a process and then you have a home, so the stakes are high but the outcome life changing. ie you might have to grin and bear it but in tuen you must be assertive and not be pushed around (too much anyway)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

But, I don't have any choice if I want to go for it, and I do.
I will be taking advice (mainly on herebut in RL too) every step of the way if the offer is accepted
In the meantime there is another possibility and if I can get the price right it may in fact be a better proposition....If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Bungalow sounds fantastic. As you know I like a bungalow. One coming up on my estate this week funny enough!

What have they done since you last viewed and tried to buy it. How silly of them.
The bungalow sounds interesting. Concrete gardens can be removed or have the advantage of gorgeous pots, planters, seating etc.
Enjoy the snow and scenery. Hope sleep is a little easier tonight.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
