Couple of nsd's bagged for me, and with my spendy day being allowed by apple then that means I have 4 nsd's in the bag so far this month. I'm trying to get to Friday but fear I may have to bring shopping day forward to Thursday this week. Fair enough. The budget is set, I am just about prepared for going back to work tomorrow and have had a proper couple of relaxing days in preparation. I have a fuzzy head today but I think I'm blaming the hormone fairy for that.
Nothing much else to report. Batch cooking done and meals prepped (although I really do need to work on breakfasts) and reduced sleep last night to try and make sure that I'm tired and properly rested tonight.
Sending love to all that need it - thinking of you Abundant, sounds like a tough time for you with your mum. Times have just been a bit tough recently haven't they? Not giving up

House hoovered, soup for lunch with h/m bread rolls from yesterday, load of laundry washed, 3 loads of laundry dried and folded and returned to owners, kitchen floor swept and hoovered, apple crumble made, fruit cake made, chocolate pecan topped shortbread made. More Xmas packed away, I only have the box of cards to shove into the cupboard. So I have been productive, but I am properly knackered now.Not looking forward to school going back tomorrow. The volunteer I was working with last week has tested covid+ so I am back on the tests again. Still, the house is tidier, the bills have gone out, and it is NSD4 even if I only make chips for supper.I fear I do not have a flying faff to give.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Mothernerd - So sorry to hear about your loss. I cared for my mother for several years also - and it is hard, both the grief and the change in life style. Give yourself a lot of time to recover. Take care of yourself.10

Good evening everyone,
Firstly - sending love and support your way Mothernerd. The way you have cared for your Mum over the years that I have known you on here has been an inspiration, and I am sure she too will have appreciated the times you spent together. Take good care of yourself - and if there are difficult times ahead - just think 'Mum wouldn't want me to be suffering, or feeling bad'. At times I have felt bad for putting Mum in a home - and I try and think if my Mum (as she was when she was well) could give me a message, I know she would reassure me that we did everything we could. You were an amazing support for yours x
🤗🧡
CrazyCatLady - Thanks for the well wishes x
Today I am grateful for:
1) The support and company of colleagues at work
2) For finding the motivation to go for my walk after work despite the cold
3) For the food in my fridge and cupboards, when many around the World have little
Found it hard to get back into the swing of things today at work, and did a bit of study as things seemed slow. I feel tired, and a little flat this evening, but glad I made it out for a walk.
Today = NSD number 2
Have a great evening folks x Stay warm and cosy 🔥⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Evening turtles
Been awol as was ill on Sunday - Monday with a bad headache and feeling bleurgh. Slept on the sofa all Sunday afternoon, went to bed at 7pm & slept till the next morning! At least i bagged another NSD taking my total to 2 so far. Have been into work today which was hectic with lots of last minute deadlines to meet. Was nice to see colleagues. Bought some household items at lunch and YS crackers (for cheese). Still need to take down the decorations!
Gratitudes - lovely visit from friend on Monday afternoon when feeling a bit fragile and down; DD2 having a safe return home from NYC so I should be able to sleep tonight; finding ceramic hob cleaner in wilk0!
love Deni
