I quite often just have a single square of a high cocoa percentage dark chocolate whereas as soon as milk chocolate is in the equation it's far easier to eat more - something to do with the melt-point in the mouth I think."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Really don’t like dark chocolate, but could eat bucket loads of milk or white 😋
The good quality ones are richer, but I also find it hard to kick the cheap stuff. If you find a way, do let me know 🍫Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I had my course today, so I've weighed in. I've got rid of the random weight gain from a few weeks ago, but am still slightly over where I was.
I have been sorting through photos which is something that has been on my 'to do' list forever! I finished the initial sift of placing them into categories/occasions and so will sort through each section again and get rid of duplicates, the ones I don't like, or can't identify or are blurry etc. I did get rid of a few today. Once I've got my final selection, I'm going to digitise them and make them into photobooks and I've got my eye on some photo storage boxes for the hard copies. I've also got a scrapbook for some of my travels which I want to make up with the photos, postcards, leaflets, tickets etc. I bought the scrapbook during one of the lockdowns and still haven't done it! 🙄 It's things like this I want to use my Fridays for, as I never seem to have time or space when everyone is here.
Anyway, whilst I was looking through the photos I was feeling a strong yearning towards my younger self. I dream of having a figure like I did back then (as do we all!) But even in later years when I was bigger, but not as big as I am now, I looked so much better!
A very lovely MSE'r messaged me the other day as well, with a very thought provoking message, and a reminder that in 10 years time or so, I don't want to be looking back at today and wishing I had done something about my health while I could and before it was too late. Maybe I can try and harness the old me and the future me, and get some motivation to do something!
I need to plan - I've always been more successful when I've meal planned.
