Enjoy your long weekend. I imagine it will be similar for me on the pay rise until July when I think it's due to bounce back a little when the NI threshold changes.
Thank you, enjoy yours too :)

My foot was so painful yesterday, but I did manage to walk the kids to school.  According to the NHS website it's most likely plantar fasciitis and they recommend treating at home for 2 weeks. (And they'd just tell me to lose weight anyway 🙄).  So I have looked up their recommended stretching activities and also have ordered some special support socks and insoles which should arrive today.  Hopefully they will make a difference!  I did the stretching yesterday and went to bed early to keep my weight off it, and it's eased a lot today thankfully.

I get that my weight will be impacting it, but with the best will in the world, it would take months/years to get to a healthier weight, so it's not a solution in the short term!

Swimming today, then we'll pop in to see my folks, then a quiet afternoon planned to try and rest it again.

I've done the money shuffle, and finances are tighter this month, but hopefully ok.  We should get our council tax rebate next week so I'll drop that into savings to hopefully buffer the winter!

The insoles for PF do feel like walking on golf balls initially, but you get used to them surprisingly fast. Hope they help - it’s flipping painful! (In case you’ve not found the info by the way it’s frequently triggered by too much time spent in completely flat shoes so that’s something to consider).

That’s the trouble going to the doctors for anything…if it’s not your weight it’s your age 😖 I hope it gets better soon.
