Thank youEssexHebridean said:The insoles for PF do feel like walking on golf balls initially, but you get used to them surprisingly fast. Hope they help - it’s flipping painful! (In case you’ve not found the info by the way it’s frequently triggered by too much time spent in completely flat shoes so that’s something to consider).
Funnily enough, I think it was triggered by one of my new pairs of trainers - they felt very flat while I was walking in them and not much cushioning.
That's the problem, at least I have a chance of doing something about my weight, no chance with age!WinterWarrior said:That’s the trouble going to the doctors for anything…if it’s not your weight it’s your age 😖 I hope it gets better soon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I did a survey on the local wildlife trust's website the other day. If your garden is 'wild' enough, they send you a plaque that you can put up. I got one and will put it up to prove to the neighbours that I'm not lazy, it's a wildlife garden

Ours is so wild I want a whole parade of Brambly Hedge animals presenting me with an award 🤣 (although a plaque would be lovely).jwil said:I did a survey on the local wildlife trust's website the other day. It's fab. Both front and back are wild. The back garden is just full of dandelions everywhere (we have no lawn). I can't bring myself to pull them up as I love their yellowy sunshiny flowersWinterWarrior said:

That sounds gorgeous! I love that wild gardens are always surprising. We normally have bluebells in one place, but just today I found a big new patch of them down the banking. I’m planning to plant some poppy seeds as that’s something we don’t have. Dandelions are really pretty. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I don't know if I'm taking more notice this year than previously, but we seem to have loads more spread of everything this year. There's a little purple flower in the garden which has gone everywhere, random primroses appeared by the shed, bluebells across one side of the garden, poppies have spread, and dandelions everywhere! In the front garden we normally have a carpet of cyclamen in the autumn/winter, there's several different primroses out there at the moment. My folks have got forget me not everywhere in their new garden so I'm going to try and plant that in the front to see if it will spread. I might try and put some of the purple flowers out there as well (and I shall try and find out what they are!).WinterWarrior said:That sounds gorgeous! I love that wild gardens are always surprising.
