Another quiet day, the kids are still full of cold, so don't really feel like inflicting them on people. (Our friends yesterday are the same, so we both agreed we might as well continue to see each other!).
I'm plodding along with some of the tasks, but not being able to relax properly because of the mess of all the toys etc we moved out of the kids bedroom for the electrics. I said I wasn't going to put any of it back until it was sorted through but I haven't really got the inclination to do so. So I've decided I'm going to move it up to the small room and worry about it after Christmas. It will remove the visual noise, and hopefully that nagging feeling that I should be getting on with it! I can then look through the units it is all stacked in front of first and hopefully clear some space to put it all. I won't be able to get it to charity or list it before Christmas so might as well get it out of the way."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It’s an excellent idea to remove the visual noise. We do that with the loft, but really do need to go through it all as it’s beginning to look like one of those Victorian attics where children find chests full of ancestral mysteries to solve, a bit spooky and very random 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

We had a bad night last night. Little jwil coughing til he was sick, little miss started coughing too
They are fine during the day, and when they finally get to sleep it eases too, but it's just getting them to sleep. I didn't sleep well either.
However, I have got up and got on with things. Their bedding is in the wash. We've been out to drop some gifts off (didn't stop so as not to share the bug love), nipped into a supermarket masked up, and then took the dog for a walk to get some fresh air into them. We haven't been out all week which probably isn't helping. I've also finally tackled the annual oven clean, so have definitely achieved something today. I'm gradually moving the stuff upstairs as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
