    Thank you :)

Thank you :)  I got loads of different ones, some on kindle and some hard copy.  Some crime, some fluff, some literature, horror, a comic book, some non fiction, cookbooks, a nice variety!

Another quiet day today.  I was going to take the kids out but there was an incident on the motorway and it was all closed so the roads would have been horrendous.  So horrific for all involved :(

I think I'm going to re-read Marie Kondo, I seem to have lost my decluttering mojo and need to get it back again.  I did put a few things out to go today, but just can't face the rest.  I think it's because my stuff is mostly done, so I need to get stuff past the kids or DH to get rid of anything else and it's just such hard work (and there's so much, it's finding the motivation to start!)

I want to relook at my finances before the end of the week.  At least this payday I'll know what my new takehome will be after the payrise.  I've got a few ideas of organising, but I want to update my SOA.  I'm going to move all my pots to a different account in the hope that if they aren't so visible, I might not dip in so much.

I've started thinking about my plans for next year.  It's more of the usual really.  I just need to be more organised and really plan in activities.

I just need to get some enthusiasm back.  Everything seems to be overwhelming and a big job, so I need to break it down into something manageable to help get me started.

  • I’m hopeless at decluttering, but I like clutterfreecarli on Instagram. If you can skim over the American 😬 (homeschooling, a tiny bit preachy, etc.) she’s good to follow. Very organised and focussed and kind.

Thank you :)  I don't really use instagram, but might have a look.

I would love to declutter unfortunately Mr LH is of the opinion that all stuff might come in useful at some unspecified time. I do sneak things out sometimes but there is much more that is stashed in cupboards. Who else has boxes of floppy discs both used and new? We also have a selection of brolen electronics which he may or more likely may not look at in the future and so it goes on.
    I feel your pain.
  • I'm a sneaker. No other way. Oh would keep everything in a pile on the floor. Kids love everything. Even a pooped balloon could be a Barbie dress. I admire there creativity but not the clutter. I agree with Jwill less clutter is better. And I'm finding I'm getting more so as I get older.
