I've had a contemplative day today, along with a bit of snoozing this morning!
Just trying to work through my plans for this week, and sorting out timings to allow for my new commute. I think I've got a plan now, and have been trying to work out my start/end times so that I can allow for a decent lunch break on the days when I'm at home, and allowing for the school runs, so I can take the time to do a bit of tidying/sorting while everyone is out.
I must say I'm looking forward to my days on my own again, it makes a huge difference even just being able to work undisturbed.
I've made the decision that I don't really want to car boot any more. So as I sort stuff, it's either going to be on ebay or I'm going to send it to charity if it's good enough or just get rid. I don't want stuff hanging around for ages to car boot. DH will probably still want to do it, as he likes to try and get every last £1 out of things, but that can be his domain, and I'm not going to save my stuff. I'm also going to be ruthless with the kids stuff and try and sneak out some of the tat otherwise when he's not lookingFB sales just don't work for me as there are too many timewasters and I hate waiting around for people. I might use Freegle though as I can just leave stuff outside.
I had a phone call from Mr T earlier asking if they could drop off my shopping earlier. That was a definite yes, so I don't have to mess around later. I only did a small shop this week as I'm still trying to use up the cupboards and freezer. It's nice to see it all going down. I have started getting stuff in for Xmas thoughso that will help spread the cost.
I've been productive towards my goals today, I have remembered to be active an hour or so after eating, and I had a small portion of toad in the hole, with a plateful of veg. I also have used up my cans of 7up so am not replacing them. I did miss it at lunchtime, but it should be a fairly easy habit to break. I've also made plans for my lunches at work so that's all sorted as well.
My mum has replaced a zip on little miss's coat for me, so that should last another year. It was only £5 second hand when I bought it last year, so if it can be used another year then it's a real bargain.
I've listed an item on ebay for me, pulled off another one which will go in recycling, and have prepped the packaging for 12 items for DH which are selling later. That will save time as all I'll have to do is print the postage. It's also given me a chance to tidy up the packaging stash and use up some of the surplus boxes and packaging. It all fits in the cupboard under the stairs again now, so the pile of packaging isn't dumped in the front room any more.

I got to the point whe i didnt want to do car boots as well. Mr LH was quite stroppy about it but he wasnt the one heaving stuff around, loading and unloading the car twice, and spending the morning standing having people making stupid offers for things. He just sat in the car and made one cup of tea during the morning. I made the whole lot into a couple of joblots and sold it on ebay. Much easier.

I’ve never done a car boot. I like the idea of them, but they do sound a lot of hard work. I have 2 things on eBay which just keep re listing. Some things don’t seem to get the viewing traffic even when they’re bargains. I get overwhelmed if I have too many things on at once though, so I’m hoping to shift one before adding another 😬

Sometimes just tweaking an ebay listing a bit can give it a fresh bump rather than just relisting endlessly. Add a bit to the title or description etc.
It was 7up free I was having. I'm not 'forbidding' myself from having anything, but there seems to be lots of contrasting evidence as to whether sugar free stuff affects blood sugars or not, so it's an easy one to give up. It will save me money as well. I'll still have them when I'm out and about but I don't 'need' it at home. Water suits me just as well.beanielou said:I did one car boot.

I was the same with car boot sales. I did a few then just sent stuff to charity for the same reasons as you.
I agree with your decision re diet free drinks.
You are doing great. Good luck with the new commute. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
