Thank goodness for the MOT reminder service. Mine is due next month. I'd completely forgotten about it. Better try and get that booked for around payday."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Today has been a challenging day. I've been feeling really down and overwhelmed with everything. I'm fed up with just aching all the time. I was even debating seeing about paying for a private GP health check as you can get an hour or so to discuss concerns. I have loads of little niggles that cumulatively add up to a hassle but individually aren't really an issue. Whilst I recognise that my weight is an issue, my GP seems to be fairly dismissive and just tells me to lose weight whatever it is. I always feel like a bit of a timewaster, so hence, I haven't gone back about my throat, I haven't gone about my knee or any other aches or pains.
Probably for the first time since I stopped eating it, I have been seriously craving chocolate the last few days. I still haven't had any but I've eaten the world instead. I probably would have been better off just buying a big bar of chocolate and stopping once it was gone.
I'd really like to just escape for a while and concentrate on me. Be alone. Do what I need to do to look after myself, and not have people constantly at me at work, at home, and via my phone. A silent retreat would be lovely right now
I'm sure I'll get there one day. Hopefully I'm just tired and grumpy and will get up in a better frame of mind tomorrow.
