Great start to the month. I think your August PADs were impressive given all the school bills!

Thank you.  I was quite surprised with the amount as well.

We had a lovely time at the beach yesterday and I managed to go into the sea properly as well which was lovely and a big deal wearing a swimming costume in public!

I've got my course today :(  I'm another 1lb down so it's coming off extremely slowly.  But equally, I am not restricting myself so it's not a struggle at all.  I still haven't had a bar of chocolate!

    Back to my previous list:

The changes I have made so far are:
    1.  Aiming for 1/2 plate of fruit/veg with every meal - mostly :)
    2. Stop eating chocolate bars - still haven't had any 😇
    3. Time restricted eating - 9am - 7pm, 10 hours - mostly :)
    4. Reduce snacking between meals - definite improvement :)

All of those are still bedded in.  I didn't make great progress with my moving after meals, so this is one to carry on tackling this month along with:

    • Walk to school/work Tuesday, Wednesday, and school on Friday.
    • Stop my lunchtime can of fizzy pop.
    • Go lower carb - not low carb in the official sense, but reduce the quantity I have at each meal and bulk up more with fruit and veg.

  • You are doing well, lots of good changes there. Very inspiring to the rest of us. Especially now it's becoming habit for you.
Hope your course goes okay today and you don't feel pressured this time

I recently read that a 15 minute walk after one's evening meal really brought down participants' blood sugars. It didn't have to be a yomp, just brisk. You are doing really well, and slow and steady weight loss is more likely to "stick".
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
