I hope we clear some stuff. DH said we didn't have a lot, then it turns out we don't have space for everything, so obviously do have a lot!

First car boot sale done. Around £30-odd made I think. Not a lot but got rid of a fair amount! DH has taken the full car to another one this afternoon so we'll hopefully get rid of some more.
I was good and just bought a book. The kids went around on their own with £5 each and bought a load of tat, but they did pretty well really and bought loads of craft stuff so at least it's consumable. They also bought a book on times tables and a wooden clock to help little miss learn the time, so I was quite impressed with them really. It's the first time they've been let off on their own so they were quite pleased with themselves."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had a complete meltdown last night and went off to bed at 6pm. I think it was just overwhelm. DH saying we didn't have much to car boot and then seeing all the stuff that was there, the kids made a real mess with some of the stuff they bought, and just general overwhelm with the clutter. It really affects me physically and emotionally and they just don't understand that.
Anyway I sorted out a few things in our room, and sat and read in silence all evening.
Part of it was probably annoyance about this meeting today, but also a nagging anxiety about my throat. It's been swollen for a few weeks, and when I eat feel like food is getting stuck. I finally messaged the GP through the app so hopefully will get an appointment this week. My tonsils are a mess anyway, but it's weird as there's no pain or symptoms.
I pre-ordered the new Cormoran Strike book which is out today, using my audible membership so I could use a credit instead of spending. I was awake nice and early today and wanted to listen to it for an hour or so but it's still showing as not available until 30th! Last time I checked it has been 30th for over 6 hours now!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I hope all is well with your throat. The feeling that food is stuck is horrible.Well done on the car boots. I know what you mean about stuff being overwhelming. Unfortunately most of ours belongs to Mr LH and might come in "useful". I would like to know where a laptop from the ark is going to be useful not to mention a broken car radio etc etc2
