Eek to laptop.
Good news on chair
I've got the parcel thankfully. I was getting edgy. Now I've got a nice new work laptopanother_casualty said:All sounds good .Good to see the little one playing the trumpet .Before I started avoiding school a lot , I was beginning to learn the clarinet 1-1 with a nice teacher. I ended up taking it home . Unfortunately , that didn't go down too well , due to coming from a large family . My mum told me in a few words that it had to go.
She made it up to me when I left school, and got me a bass guitar from freeman's catalogue ..or was it Kay's 😼
Hope little jwil keeps it up . I have a few nieces / nephews and none play an instrument which I find a bit sad . Different times I guess.
I'll leave it there..😼Unfortunately he didn't want to carry on when the letter came round. I perhaps should have encouraged him more. His report says he quite often chooses the easy option which is true. I should challenge him more.

Happy last day of term, hurrah!
I'm on a mission today, to gather up the rest of the school clothes, and anything else that needs to go, so I can drop it in the clothing bank at school this afternoon. If I get time, I'm going to tackle the airing cupboard as well.
It's cloudy and cooler here today which is nice, so I'm going to stick an audiobook on and crack on

Arrrghhh! I've just opened up a drawer I use for storing clothing not used often, and found a load of brand new unused uniform! 🤦♀️🤦♀️ It's sized from a couple of years ago, so must have been unused due to Covid. Most of it won't fit any more, but there may be a couple of jumpers that will do for a bit. I've bagged it up and will donate it to the school later.
I've also gone through my drawers and finally got rid of everything that I've saved previously because it might come in handy, because I've saved them several times and still haven't worn them!
I've been through the airing cupboard and am getting rid of the old duvets (I'm going to get a couple of spare coverless ones), some grotty pillows, and some of the old duvet covers etc (I'll save some to use as extra blankets). I've also set aside some towels, but they might be converted into dog towels, and I'll make sure we've got a couple for the cars.

6 bags of clothing and bedding gone! All deposited at school.
No more school runs for 6 weeks!
I've ordered the branded uniform today as well. Just shoes and school bags to get now I think. I'm very organised this year!
My £50 has arrived, yay! So I've done another PAD to the mortgage."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -

6 bags gone is amazing! I think I could do that per drawer with the amount I keep just in case!Happy school holidays. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
