Another hectic day. I've been starting work at 6.30am to get my hours in. Finished (hopefully!) setting up my new laptop. I like it. It's smaller and lighter so will be good for when I'm walking.
Me and the kids had the dentist this afternoon. Kids were all fine thankfully but I needed to have a filling replaced. £60 odd lighterWe then went to the office to drop off my key and collect my chair. I've got it here, but no space to put it
I also returned the bits of uniform, and checked, but they didn't have any of the correct size in stock, so I'll have to reorder online.
Cashed out on PA so a bit extra to PAD tomorrow.
I got the kids to sort the costume box and another random dumping box this morning. Not a lot seems to have gone sadlyI did manage to gallop around the house gathering all the random bits of paper/artwork that little miss has dumped everywhere (I keep a few good bits). Managed to get that all in the recycling, as well as some of the comics/colouring books that they put out yesterday. A load more still to go through to see if they can be salvaged for donating or whether they need to go in the recycling.

Another hectic day ahead but at least I don't have to go out today.
The kids have requested a break from sorting today, and would like their 'task' to be exercise related. I give them a task and then once they've completed that, they are free to do whatever they want. It means they are not glued to their screens all day while I'm working, and they usually play together for a bit, or disappear into the garden. I don't feel as bad working all day then. So today they can do a Joe Wicks workout or something similar, I've also got a link to some 'games' from I think the NHS so I'll give them that, which they should enjoy.
4 items sold so they are in the post.
2 more days to go..."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
A cunning plan @jwil! Totally agree re balancing must do with free time as otherwise you end up with resentful, even mutinous, children. You are doing brilliantly, keep going love Humdinger xx2

yes, it's nice to keep them on side.

I'm feeling grotty today all of a sudden! I was fine this morning then have been feeling rough ever since I had breakfast. I thought it might be stress about everything I had to do today, but I've completed what I need to so hopefully it will ease. Tomorrow will hopefully be a more relaxing day as I've done most of the urgent stuff. Hopefully I can just get the easier stuff done and prep for when I go back.
I got offered a short term RM survey today but when I completed it it said it wasn't available to me. They will kick me off the panel soon as I've turned down several invitations to go back on the main survey."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
