6 bags gone is amazing! I think I could do that per drawer with the amount I keep just in case!
    Happy school holidays.
Thank you :)  It feels great to see it gone, but it's loads considering I last 'did' clothes not that long ago!

    Aww thank you

Well done on the decluttering. Annoying for you re the clothes but I'm sure someone will be very grateful.

    Great news on the PAD.
Thank you :)  It's annoying, but can't be helped.  Hopefully someone will benefit.

Yes @jwil, you are making a deposit in the Bank of Karma...good things heading your way.  Love Humdinger xx

Aww I like that thinking :)  Thank you!  I hope that it will make a difference to a couple of families.

I think yesterday's declutter has invigorated me and hopefully the start of getting more organised.   4 days left at work and then I've got 2 weeks off.  I want to make a difference and also do stuff with the kids.

DH and I both have the last week of August off, and he's got the week before off too, so even if I largely concentrate on the house to start with, we can do stuff at the end of the month.

Kids have gone swimming then we're out today for a birthday party.  It's down in Devon so we thought we might see what National Trust places are in the area and go and visit one after.

Tomorrow I'm meant to be catching up with friends so that will be nice.

Next week I'm going to be really busy at work trying to make sure everything's up to date before I go on leave.  It will be nice not to have to stop for the school run, so I can get stuck in.  The kids will have 4 days of being on their screens and entertaining themselves, but they won't mind, and they can always go and visit their grandparents.

Tuesday we all have the dentist and Friday they've got their 2nd covid jabs, so we'll go in town anyway and go to the library too.  Next sunday there is an inflatable theme park so they are going there and meeting a friend.  So not a completely wasted week!

Have a good one everyone :)

NT visits sound like fun. You have lots of nice things planned, well apart from the dentist and jabs!
Just catching up so well done on the decluttering too.
You have inspired me with your PADs and I have just set up a daily payment of £2 into a savings account. Thank you  :)

I've managed to clean the kitchen and bathroom and tidy a bit while they are out, so at least I won't be coming back to a complete mess!

Checked I've got my NT card, and pulled out a few out of date cards/receipts from my purse while I was at it.

I've also eaten loads!  Seem to be starving this morning.  I wonder if it's because I ate later than usual last night as I was out with little miss at a party.  The TRE seems to be really helping regulate my appetite.  That plus the lack of chocolate means I'm definitely  eating less.  Hopefully one day it will show!  I keep reminding myself that small changes will eventually add up.  Even if every change I make ultimately results in a 1lb reduction in my weight, at some point it will become visible and I'm making permanent changes, not dieting so it's ok if I take my time.

Slow weight loss also helps your body acclimatise without needing ops. If you lose 10% of your weight even if you have loads left to lose there are massive benefits. That's my initial target.

    Bumper month for PADs.

We didn't make it to the NT place as we stayed at the party venue for most of the day.

Back now and we are having takeaway.  I am starving again!  Don't know what's wrong with me today 😱

The kids have had a lovely day and hopefully will sleep well tonight after all that running around!
