That's a very nice payment. Was it a long session?
No, it was meant to be an hour and a half, but it ended after about 1 hr 10.  All on Zoom, so I didn't even need to go anywhere!

Also sorrry about job relocation ..
It sounds like you're not going to amalgamate with another company , which has its challenges .
    Hope things improve .
Thank you.  We are moving into an organisation we have worked arms length from in the past.  But hopefully that will be a positive.

Wow mortgage overpayments are going well. I may need to try this PAD thing. Do you just use money you have made or do you round down accounts etc?
I do both.  I make a payment of £1 or £2 a day from my bank account as standard, but then also add any extra money such as from surveys or sales.  Sometimes I'll make a bigger payment from my bank account if I'm feeling rich, but that's rare.  It is surprising how it adds up!  I thought I'd be paying around £60 max, but as you can see I've exceeded that every month so far.

Thank you.  I know, it's really positive.  Though I guess I'm paying for it out of my water bills....

Was it interesting?  Shame you didn't get paid.  I like doing stuff like that though.

Hope everyone is well.  It's the end of another week for me, and one day left at school for the kids

I went to see little jwil playing the trumpet today. He did so well bless him, I'm glad I managed to go given that I was barely aware he was learning it!

We've got a busy weekend ahead - 2 birthday parties, meeting up with friends.  The usual swimming etc.

My work laptop has been delivered today, but sods law it arrived the one hour I was out!  It's been delivered to a neighbour who I don't know, and they aren't home.  It's clearly visible in their porch, I'm getting a bit anxious.  I looked on the website this morning when I saw what time it was due and it wouldn't let me rearrange delivery, but it said it would be taken to a post office.  That would have been much better!

I've emailed my GP today to ask to come off my anxiety meds.  I've been a lot better for months now.  I was also looking for the side effects yesterday online and found several studies where they are linked to a higher risk of diabetes.  I don't need anything adding to my risk, even if it's small, so that confirmed for me what I'd been contemplating for a while.

My focus for tomorrow is to try and find my work badge.  It needs to be converted to a pass when we move, and I can remember exactly where it was when I last saw it, but I can't find where I moved it to.  It must be here at home somewhere.  It's been agreed that I can have my office chair at home as well, so that's great news.  It's so comfortable and I've had it for years!

  • All sounds good .
Good to see the little one playing the trumpet .

Before I started avoiding school a lot , I was beginning to learn the clarinet 1-1 with a nice teacher. I ended up taking it home . Unfortunately , that didn't go down too well , due to coming from a large family . My mum told me in a few words that it had to go.
She made it up to me when I left school, and got me a bass guitar from freeman's catalogue ..or was it Kay's 😼

Hope little jwil keeps it up . I have a few nieces / nephews and none play an instrument which I find a bit sad . Different times I guess.
    I'll leave it there..😼
