Happy payday!  I've refilled all my pots, so starting the month with a very tight budget.  I need to dip into them less this month!

I'm really chuffed with the declutter list, hopefully I can repeat that while I'm off.

Today I'm just having a relaxing day.  Admin this morning.  We will go in town later as the kids have their 2nd jabs.  It will be good to get them out of the house!

I need to think about what my next lifestyle change will be.  I have well engrained my previous ones, so it's now time to pick a new habit.  I did speak to my GP about coming off the anxiety meds, and this is happening this month so that's good.

The changes I have made so far are:
    1.  Aiming for 1/2 plate of fruit/veg with every meal - mostly :)
    2. Stop eating chocolate bars - still haven't had any 😇
    3. Time restricted eating - 9am - 7pm, 10 hours - mostly :)
    4. Reduce snacking between meals - definite improvement :)

I think I need an activity one now.  So this month it is going to be: make an effort to move around/exercise within 1 hour of eating to help regulate blood sugars.  This one will be a real challenge for me, particularly when I'm working.  But it will be a really good habit to get into.

Sounds like a good plan. Is the ten hour eating timeframe the thing you posted about earlier. I wonder if it would help me loose a bit and stop snacking. I leave at quarter to eight though so wonder how best to make it work. Have you found it manageable? Sorry so many questions !

    I don't mind questions, I ask plenty!

Yes, it is the time restricted eating I posted about before.  Some people say 8 hours, but one book I read said it didn't make much difference, and 10 hours was more manageable for most.

You can pick whatever hours suit you - some people like to skip breakfast and eat into the evening, but I am too hungry in the morning and tend to eat my last meal between 5 and 6pm.  I take breakfast to work with me - though admittedly that might not be possible for a lot of jobs.

I have found it really suits me and has stopped a lot of snacking - particularly in the evening.  I find it hard when I have to go out early so either start earlier and try and finish earlier, or just accept a longer window for that day (obviously only works if it's not frequent).

It's also helped with my grazing during the day.  If I eat within 10 hours, then it's never long to the next meal, so I snack less.  I'm definitely eating less.

I haven't found it a struggle at all, which has been amazing.  There's only the odd evening where I've fancied something, but usually I've resisted.  I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot - you can always try different timescales and find one that suits.  The idea is to leave that 14 hour gap between when you stop eating the night before and start eating the next day.  I'm not losing a lot of weight, but I'm definitely losing inches, and I'm hoping it helps with my bloods when I next have them done.
