I 100% need to join this for 2022, I have so much to do craft-wise, including knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, card-making and rug-making. Would be nice to work through my projects and stuff this year and start with a clean slate in 2023. I will start with a target of 100 items. My initial items to target are a a lilac jumper that I am knitting for my Mum (sleeves, neckband and sewing up left to do), finishing touches to house cross-stitch (back-stitching left) and a Beauty and the Beast rug, which I started a few days ago for something different to do. Will post pictures of my projects as regularly as I can.

Am hanging my head in shame at not really having done anything much. Can’t remember what I’ve done at the beginning of the year (although I know I finished the jumper for my Mum - she loved it) so will start from the beginning of September. Admittedly have only completed one hat since then, but at least it’s something.
Can I reduce my target to 40 - have got a couple more hats to make, Xmas cards to make and a million and one other projects to do.

I cant even remember what I set mine as hun so you are doing better than I am! Well done on finishing your jumper too. Always happy to have more people on board. I think we have all hit a bit of a crafting slump as it seems a bit quiet in here lately but I think we are all beavering away in the background.
EDITED TO ADD
I set myself a £100 spend for the year and I am already on £62 of £100
From beginning of September to Christmas I am going to try and set myself the limit of 30 crafts so I am already on 2 of 30

I haven't actually managed to finish anything, but I've stamped out lots of bits to colour in. I've coloured I a few I'm happy with, they just need to make it onto cards! Sadly, my sewing machine is broken. I need to raid my husband's tool stash to get the back off and see if that helps- I've done the bobbin housing and no change

Hi everyone, not so nice weather this morning 😕. Well, I've sewn up the colour block cardigan and knitted the button band so still to knit the buttonhole band. Hoping to do this today. It's not a relaxing job so last night I started a pink Aran short sleeve cardigan for granddaughters Xmas. It'll be a quick knit and will use 200g of yarn from my stash - just enough for a short sleeved cardi 😃. There's method in my madness.
I've yet again put off recovering the stool but I did sew a cushion using all leftover fabric. The fabric of the vase matches the curtain and cushion fabric. I bought the pattern from eBay last year and this is the second time I've used it so getting value for my money.
Next week I am definitely 🤞going to recover the stool. I looked through my yarn stash and have aran yarn out to knit grandson a hat and granddaughter a long sleeved aran jacket and hat. That'll keep me going for a bit
Happy crafting ps remember the waistcoat that I had loads of problems with - well I ripped it all back yesterday and will start a new pattern next year. I actually hated that pattern and it would have lain in a cupboard for years so now I'm going to start afresh.

Well, managed to complete another make - a beach bag for my recent holiday.
I was stitching it at nearly midnight the night before! But it did rather well - the waterproof lining was incredibly useful in dealing with wet costumes and towels.

Holy Moly, everything
moves fast on here. I’ve not been on
as my computer suddenly died and it took me few weeks to replace it. Anyway, I’m back now. I’m off now, to read what you’ve all been up to. It’s unlikely (there‘s no chance,
realistically) that I’ll be able to comment on every thing that you’ve done, so
I’ll just say “Wow! You are all amazing”
and please, know that I mean it.
What have I been up to?
Not nearly as much as you lot!
No sewing done in the last few months. Normally I’d be gearing up to make Hallowe’en
costumes but no one needs one (3 getting too old for guising – 2 14s and an 11)
and the wee one (4)seems to be into recycling, ie she says she wants to wear
her Elsa costume. The best bit about
that is that I made the Elsa outfit for the now 11 year old. Of course, she may change her mind.
I’ve managed quite a bit of knotting and crochet since I
last popped in.
·
another 3 crochet jumpers – all from stash, even
the buttons
·
a crochet lap quilt that used up lots of
oddments, including some ridiculously small pieces of yarn (the smallest was
about 6” and worked 2 stitches, lol)
·
3 knitted bow tie scarves, great for using
oddments – about 20g DK for age 3-7
·
Card making – 1 anniversary card, 10 birthday
cards. 5 general cards, 13 Christmas cards
What’s in the pipeline for October?
·
Gift bags for 2 October birthdays – I have loads
of fat quarters and other leftover fabric for these
·
More bow tie scarves – for age 8-12 and teenage
·
Another crochet lap quilt
·
2 sets of birthday cards, Christmas cards
Happy crafting everyone!

I need to get busy as got some bits to make for Christmas. Did pick up some paper pads at a car boot recently as I couldn't resist, very lovely papers, but I've already got loads to use up!
I've got a crafty friend who I always try and make something for her birthday but I've run out of ideas. Last few years I've made her: recipe book, envelope planner, bookmark, inspiration book and a key ring.

I always struggle when it gets to grotty weather
I have punched out 200 circles to begin making decorations for my wedding. But I had to buy the big circular punch! 🙈
I might try and make a bow tie tomorrow so my partner can take it with him to his suit fitting!

I don't sew, I papercraft. Any ideas?
