I've mocked up a pattern for a dog poo bag holder that I saw online- one for holding all the oddments of bags rather than the nice rolls you can buy! I hope it works. Should use up some scraps either way. I'm still signed up for a Christmas fair, so I will knock a few up for that.

Oh I would be interested to see them when you are done.
I am thinking I will use some of my material stash to make a dog walking bag to hold things like bags, phone, w keys, water etc when Im out walking my two as I never seem to have enough hands.

    Hi everyone.
Loving all the makes and progress everyone is making.
As well as trying to make things I am undertaking the massive task of trying to sort my conservatory out - it has been a dumping ground for the whole family since we moved in over 15 years ago so there is a lot of stuff.
I'm coming across lots of boxes filled with craft supplies which I had sorted out ready to sell a few years ago and then forgotten about!!!! I have to be honest and admit to putting some things back in my craft room to play with but I do have 3 huge boxes filled with things which I intend to make into craft packs/mystery boxes and try selling from my FB page and Etsy shop and I have already sold a few items on FB marketplace. At least I've not bought any new supplies as I already had these ;)
I've been away for a few days since my last update so not much to report on the making front but a couple of bits for orders made today so I'm now up to 1272/2022 - only 750 more things to make to reach my target ;)

    Happy crafting everyone x

    Not been here a while.

Loving hearing about what people are up to.

Just started a knee blanket for SiL for Christmas  She wanted pink and purple. I had to buy the pink but am using my purple stash. I will be making one for DD but she isn't so fussy about the colours, and one for FiL which will probably be greens.

I will check in when I make some progress.

  • Well I went away for a few days last week to Worcester.

First day we explored and then the second day my husband had to work so I had time to myself in the AirBnB curled up in front of the log fire and cracking on with my cross stitch so I am literally just finishing the 4th snowman card to give as gifts.

There was a nice hobbycraft just down the road too so it would have been rude to not stop in and have a look so I picked up a few little bits for my best friend as Im making her a little package as she has a rough time at the end of August with it being her dads passing anniversary etc.

So I ordered her a fall mug (glass mug with pumpkins on it) and in hobbycraft I picked up a little pumpkin shaped blackboard, some scrabble letters, a small cross stitching hoop and some more cards/envelopes - I think I was very well behaved to be honest as that place is fast becoming my favourite place on earth.

Currently trying to find out a pattern to sew a teddy bear for mother in law for her christmas present and have found a cross stitch I want to do for her too which Ill grab off amazon and get started on as my next project once the cards are done so I need to crack on with them.

I will be saving money this year hopefully by making a lot of my presents

    How are we all doing?
Whats everyones latest or current projects?

Quick check in from me as I have not spent any money on craft supplies for the whole of this month so far - that's a whole 5 days which I think must be a record for me :)

  • Hi, I'm now on to back of the colour block cardigan. Today I've finished the quilting on the throw for my sitting room. I've sewn on the binding and just have hand sew this and it'll be finished.

Good news is my new settees are being delivered tomorrow.  Thank goodness as I'm getting really fed up sitting in this garden chair. I've realised there is absolutely no insulation!!! The weather here is quite chilly in the evenings and I've been going to bed about 8.30 as I've been so cold. Roll on tomorrow 😀.
    Happy crafting

I've finished stuffing a draught excluder this evening- I used all the rag bag, and a load of remnants I got from my favourite fabric shop (cheaper per kilo than polyester stuffing). The second one I will get started, and then stuff as I make scraps from upcoming projects. My son starts school Wednesday, so I'll have two days a week for professional development and crafting!! (And cleaning. Maybe.) I have so many projects I'd like to get done, I don't know where to start!!

  • I am exactly the same @emsi_b
My daughter had online learning today and she is actually back in school tomorrow and I cant wait so I can have the house to myself for a bit because I dont feel like Ive had it in so long now - between son being off college and work, daughter being off school, and husband taking holiday time etc - I think tomorrow will be a me day and I plan to make the absolute most of it!

I do have a few draught excluders to make for the front and back door but I have old pillows upstairs and a few old duvets that may become stuffing it I cant wash them as they have been up in the attic and the house has been reinsulated by the council since.

I am currently sat looking for a template to sew a teddy bear for my mother in law but I am going to try my very best to not spend excessively this month on crafting stuff although Im aware I am paid on the 14th so I will cap it at least to £15 which will basically cover the cross stitch I plan to do for my mother in laws christmas present!
