Sorry for the silence - I've been enjoying having my daughter home from Uni. I'm loving all your fabulous makes - some serious stash busting going on and I have to admit I'm feeling slightly inferiors with my crafting skills compared to all of yours. I've managed to make more things - mainly for my business but also made a 1st birthday card for little next door neighbour using a crafters companion CD I bought in 2010 and had never used!
I may also have been naughty and bought some more cutting dies but in my defence they are all shapes which can be used in so many different ways - given how much I have blown my budget out of the water I've given up counting how much I've spent but I promise I will try very hard not to buy anything else for at least two weeksMy total of makes now stands at 1210/2022 - I'm over half way there

I have managed another piece of the quilt.I’ve also filled a screw hole in the wall. As well as a hole round a plug socket. I’m feeling like I’ve achieved things. I still have fabric I need to find but it’s driving me mad as I know I’ve seen it recently.Glad you’ve all been busy. Xx269 / 250.£120.91 / £250. Budget spent.

I did a craft fair at the weekend- a grand total of 6 groups of people came in 🤦♀️ it was really poorly advertised, I did my best to share it in local groups, but can only do so much! I made my pitch back pretty much as it finished. I'll be sure to share it a lot more extensively next time as I've paid for October and December!
I've repaired the 3 things in the mending pile this morning, and started putting a new pattern together whilst I waited for a skip to arrive. After an hour of hauling lumps of rotten wood into a skip, looking forward to a nice quiet afternoon sewing!!!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I'd love to join. I have an overflowing craft room which to be honest is just paralysing me as I don't know what to start. Have ambitions to spend £0 but realistically have a budget of about £25 for thread. I'm aiming to make a quilt and finish 3 Autumn dresses for my Grandchildren, a knitted throw and a painting. Good luck everyone.5

I totally get the overwhelm - I have come to realise that buying craft supplies and using craft supplies are two different hobbies and I'm only good at one of them
I find that when I have no clue and am paralysed from looking at too much stash that a challenge helps me to quickly make something (usually a card in my case) and then gets my creative juices flowing and lets me brave enough to go freestyle.
I cannot wait to see your wonderful makes.

@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine - sorry to hear about your partners Nan and I hope you are all feeling better. My husband is just getting over covid again so he has been quarantined in the bedroom so its been hard work!
@craftingmad - enjoy having your daughter home - I love having my kids around me on the holidays. Love the card too
@Florenceem - I love the hats. So creative!
@nimbo - you are doing so well and seem to be really cracking on with crafting and sorting things
@emsi_b at least you have had a few people through the doors but I can imagine its very frustrating when you have taken so much time to craft and advertising the event hasnt been up to par!
@LizzieFlorence and @bit_by_bit - Welcome both to the boards! Always nice to meet fellow crafters! And I cant wait to see what you both make
Well my lovely neighbour offered me a bag of wool a month or so ago complete with needles etc so I will be planning on some knitting and I am hoping to use my hand loom that I brought for my christmas presents and so I can master a new skill.
Havent done much crafting lately because husband has been poorly with covid, trying to declutter and tidy the house before christmas so theres not as much junk around the place, son is working all hours under the son, 12 year old daughter is in need of entertaining, whilst also managing and avoiding the cost of living news so my anxiety doesnt play up. And my phone broke the day before yesterday and I didnt quite realise how much of my life was on my phone so Im now £95 poorer to have it fixed!
Time to find me again4 -
