Evening all. I’m glad you’re all super busy. And hopefully enjoying the weather. 😁😁

I’ve managed to sort a few things.

    Painted a picture frame.

Framed a picture. Started another that matches as I have another picture of the same place from a different angle. Then to hang them.

Finished another picture frame. No idea what I’m going to frame in it.

Finished another section of the quilt.

    Set off some cherry brandy.

I’m on a dress making class. Using fabric bought years ago for the task. Yay. Will be finished tomorrow i hope.

    264 / 250.

    £120.91 / £250. Budget spent.

I’m really pleased there has been progress.

Good morning everyone, this week I've been sewing my new sitting room curtains. The fabric is really heavy so I've been doing a little bit daily as it's hard going on my shoulders. I knew I'd bought curtain lining a few years ago and was amazed to find I had 10 metres so plenty to line the curtains without having to spend any more.  I've just to hem them now but they're looking great so far. Once finished I'll start the piped cushions and tie backs.

I'm on to the sleeves of my colour blocked cardigan. I've left the back to the last as I may not have enough of the denim or light grey wool so I might have to raid my wool stash for similar colours. Hopefully I won't have to buy any.

    Happy Crafting

I've been away on hols and had hoped to get a good chunk of knitting done as my mum was there to help- I finished off the back panel. So not as much as I'd hoped!! I did read two books and did lots of evening walks though, so still productive. As little man is 4 in two weeks, and this is an age 4-5 jumper... I'd best get busy!!

I have however, made 13 cards since I've been back. A few were stamped, but most were using up toppers and die cut pieces from a drawer, so pleased with that. I'm doing a craft fair next weekend so will hopefully sell a few!

    Now at 42/100
    Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025
    Make £2024 in 2024- £852.21/£2024

97/200- bust my craft stash 2025!
166/200- bust my craft stash 2024! £106.80 spent
211/200- bust my craft stash 2023!
  • Well done everyone-you've been so productive! I've had a lot to catch up as I've been away for a while.

Had a rough couple of months-partners nan was in a hospice then passed, then we all caught Covid (started showing symptoms day after the funeral which made me feel awful about going! All though we tested negative on the day), then straight after we attended a wedding in the Caymans but I just felt knackered the whole time.

After the last two months I think I need another break 😂 I'm also feeling dramatic as I turn 30 this month 🤦‍♀️

I’ve managed to finish one dress.

I’ve set off more cherry 🍒 brandy. So I’m feeling like I’ve done lots. Yay.

    266 / 250.

    £120.91 / £250. Budget spent.

I’ve found a load more shirring elastic for another dress. So I need to dig out more fabric for them. I’ve got some Halloween type fabric for one as well as some crow fabric. (The Halloween was cheaper so will be a another practice one - I may need to move the bush dart). I can’t find the purple Halloween one though. I mean that would be too easy.

I have another pattern I want to have a look at but the sewing tutor was driving me mad today. When I try to pick up instructions to look she seems to know better and then sent us a little wrong this evening. I mean she generally does know better - but I’m trying to get my head round following patterns…

I need to get some bunting finished. And another dress cut out.

    Stay busy all. Xx
