Not difficult- rather on the fiddly scale
there's another deign which is easier because it's based on 2 granny squares whereas the one in my pictures is circular body & a granny square for the wings. I keep playing around trying to get a perfect circle!
Fiddliest bit probably is the metallic thread as it has a mind of it's own & rather springy

Here is the pattern for the blue edged angel:
    http://www.heartmadeblessings.org/patterns/robbiesangel.asp

I used the head pattern & wings from it and then adapted the circular one from 'di camilla' on the left (The other photos are surplus to requirements but I can not edit!!)
Photos on No 4 show the parts- but no instructions- see below
    iyhowto.org/crochet-angel-free-patterns/

I use standard DK for bodies & Starmist yarn for the contrast, If you are going to need several colours or several balls it may well be cheaper online even with the postage. Individual ball costs around £3 if you can find in a local shop. £1.87 from FabricGiant as they are sale price at present. They also have the plastic rings. I use 1" but smaller ones will work if you do 2 rows double crochet and then the picot row.

Ah, but the angels don't have to be for Christmas- they can be for Christenings, new babies...... whatever you want, that's why they come in different colours. I sent a turquoise edged one to a friend last week- she was thrilled as she always talks about guardian angels.

I’ve added to the quilt. It’s going slow. But I’m pleased there has been progress.

I’ve got loads to do. But I’m feeling blessed this week.

So far the plasterer had said he can patch repair for around £250. Vs god knows how much for a full re
plaster. He couldn’t even figure out how long a full knock back would take. I live in an old wonky house and  he had no idea where he’d even start. He reckoned a week for two men and over 2k for labour. But also no idea of hidden messes under what we can see.

My boiler stopped working. They’ve waived the excess of the insurance and serviced it as it was a 10 minute fix. I’m so pleased my week hasn’t been more expensive.

    259 / 250.

    £120.91 / £250. Budget spent.

I love the epp that’s been shown and the quilting is lovely. I hope you’re all busy and happy in the sometimes sunshine. Xx

    Hi,

One more item finished - a cross-stitch kit  I bought umpteen years ago ( I think the shop closed down over 6 years ago!). Was a bit unimpressed  as I had to buy skeins of all 3 colours to finish it, but 'tis done now.

Just got to decide what I want to do with it.

Now working on a boro bag UFO I found in my hoard - I had completely forgotten I'd actually started it
