Good morning, I've finally finished recovering the stool and I'm very pleased with it. I don't know why I kept putting it off as it was quite straightforward. I just used the old cover as a pattern. Worst part was taking out the staples. I didn't have the special tool so used a screwdriver and pliers. There must have been well over a hundred staples. Anyway it's done now 😄.My colour block cardigan only has the buttonhole band to be done. Will probably finish this at the weekend as it needs to be done in the daylight and most of my knitting is done in the evenings.
This week I have finished hats for 2 grandkids and another one on the needles. I usually give all the grandkids hats in with their Xmas gifts. This year I'm going to give them the hats when the weather starts to get colder and they don't have to wait till Xmas for them.
Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Well done, on getting on with your hats, Betharooni.
Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine, good luck with your decorations. Having been through my daughter’s and my son’s weddings and having made all the paraphernalia for both of them, I know how onerous it can be – and they each chose to have relatively small weddings.
Tiggermad, what about handmade boxes with little treats in them for your friend? Mentioning those weddings reminded me that I’d made triangular boxes for my daughter’s wedding favours. She had a very Scottish them and filled them with Edinburgh Rock, as she had friends from all over the world coming.
My goodness, plumduff55, you have been busy! Your grandchildren are very lucky; I think they’ll be needing those hats sooner than later.
I’ve only done a few things since I last popped in ☹
Another crochet lap quilt – daughter-in-law loved it and so she snaffled it (with permission, lol) another knitted bow tie scarf, for age 8-12 2 birthday cards. 5 Christmas cards Sewed 2 gift bags
What’s next? Gift bag for a November birthday 2 more bow tie scarves – for age 8-12 Another crochet lap quilt 1 birthday card, Christmas cards
Keep crafty busy, everyone; we will bust (some of) that stash.

Another hat finished so now at 3/40. Am currently knitting a matinee jacket for a colleague who has just had a new baby a week and a half ago. Am also hoping to progress a couple of sewing projects today.

I 100% need to join this for 2022, I have so much to do craft-wise, including knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, card-making and rug-making. Would be nice to work through my projects and stuff this year and start with a clean slate in 2023. I will start with a target of 100 items. My initial items to target are a a lilac jumper that I am knitting for my Mum (sleeves, neckband and sewing up left to do), finishing touches to house cross-stitch (back-stitching left) and a Beauty and the Beast rug, which I started a few days ago for something different to do. Will post pictures of my projects as regularly as I can.

Can I reduce my target to 40 - have got a couple more hats to make, Xmas cards to make and a million and one other projects to do.

I started this challenge 6 years ago I think and have not yet managed to hit any of the targets I set myself

Wow you have all been really busy and are putting me to shame but the good news is I have still not spent anymore on crafting supplies and are even more determined than ever to use up the stash I have
I'm now up to 1421/2022 makes as my Etsy shop has suddenly got busier again which is a big relief but I still cannot even see a dent in my crafting stash so I must try harder.
Keep up the crafting good work everyone xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.025 -
Hello everyone! I am chuffed with myself for knocking up a bat costume for my son's Halloween disco. I used a t shirt pattern I already had, remnants of black Jersey and then made a pattern piece for the wings to join up to the sleeve and sides. It isn't perfect, but it very much resembles a bat, good for playing in and I drafted a piece by myself!!!
I also have lots of other bits cut out- including some PJs tailored to young sir who has age 4-5 length legs but age 2-3 tummy 😂 how when he eats like there's no tomorrow...
Now up to 21/100, but expecting a flurry of completed items soon.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025
