Been really busy with builders in the house but have made a Kumihimo leather bracelet as son wanted one (now finishing off 2 more he wanted - will try to photograph before I hand them over!) and finishing off knitting my summer cardigan just stitching up and bands to do
I have also, because of the builders needing access, sorted out my wool and donated what I realistically won’t use to local knitting group who knit for and with charities etc. actually it sounds as though I have been busy lol - just doesn’t seem like it at the time

Everyone's done so well! We have been so busy at the moment trying to sort out the new property, talking to builders then discovering new problems and having to talk to more and extra contractors that in the evening I just don't have anything left in me to create! We are taking two weeks "off" from builders and other tasks so maybe after a rest I'll feel more creative!
Well done everyone!5 -

I have quite a large stash of fabric and tools, bit rarely find the time to sew. I did do some today though, making a gift for daughters friends birthday, and a scrunchie to go with it, and then another scrunchie for daughter lol.
I think I will aim to make one thing a month, and I want to keep my spends low so set a budget of £25 for the year, as I shouldn't need anything other than maybe some elastic and or thread.
And, I got an overlocker for my birthday and I still haven't used it! 🙈 I'm going to watch some videos tonight on how to set it up and use it, as some of the projects I want to do are clothes.
I am in awe of the card making skills here. They are fabulous!
Here are my recent makes:
Those makes are amazing

Love the organiser make.
Welcome to all the newcomers ☺
My only recent make is a dinosaur book for my nephew's 5th birthday. I've packed it up to post, forgotten to take any photos though!6 -
73 / 250
I had a productive day sewing. Didn’t get masses done but it was lovely to catch up with people. I haven’t done any pointing. Or painted any frames, or covered the lampshade. But they are on the list. I’ve been out all weekend hence the lack of I’m house stuff. Also many are outdoors so the rain has been a dampener.I’m currently in a dilemma. A local church is selling pews. I don’t think they intend to reopen. And part of me wants to buy one. I could make a space for one (I think need to measure). And it’s a part of local history. I’m just not sure I can justify the spend. 🤯🤯spent so up to £23.87 / 250. Only adding to keep track. I bought an acrylic paint pen. I have a plan to try etching so this was an investment in that. (Or a random piece of clutter I will never get round to using)…

please tell me how you make the scrunchie with 'ears', it looks so much more exciting than a basic scrunchie!
I'm long time lurker on here. Have stashes and masses but the heaps never go down as I get given yet more 'stuff.'
Most of the time I am busy making doggy duvets to sell for Dogs for Good. 12 delivered to outlets last week.
Hope you enjoy my quality control hound officer ensuring they are just right to sell! Sorry, he has come out almost larger than life!
Everything is recycled stuff- duvets saved from landfill
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

@Katiehound I use this pattern - https://www.madeeveryday.com/scrunchie-video/ she also has a how to video on YouTube. It's actually a really simple pattern, but I agree the ears really perk up a basic scrunchieFebruary wins: Theatre tickets5

Hi, just found this thread and read it from the start. Can I join please?I knit, sew, and quilt. Needless to say I have a stash for each of these hobbies !!! I am retired and have set aside Mondays, Wednesdays and alternate Fridays for my sewing and quilting. I knit every night while watching tv. Can't relax unless I'm knitting 😄.Having a bit of arthritis now I realise that as time goes on I'm going to have to slow down and this realisation has motivated me to start using my stash and NOT buying any more. Wishful thinking though as I have my ticket for the Craft Show in Glasgow next month. This is my favourite event - I save all my spare money in a tin from one event till the next and then I go mad - but not this year I will take a shopping list and only buy what I need 🤞🤞🤞
Bye for now, PlumDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

I've made a friend's birthday card ready for her birthday in March and made her present as well! It's a business card holder stand that I've decorated and stamped quotes on so she can choose what she wants to say without saying it 😁 it's one of those things I bought on a whim so pleased to have used it.5
