My recently finished cheerful socks with accompanying cheerful gloves. (Not quite finished orft the second glove) Still ploughing my way through the yarn kindly given by a Freecycler. So far have made 2 jumpers, 1 cardi, 3 scarves, 1 socks and 1 gloves and only used about half.
I'm very impressed at the speed of your knitting, surely you only got The Freecycle yarn a few weeks ago?! Please may we have pictures of the other knitting too (apologies if I missed them)? Here are my recent knits as requested.... all made up as I went along, (no patterns). Soz for the poor photos, flash played up and soz if O/T.
Top cardi is Shetland wool, all others are kid mohair/silk mix. Still got loads of yarn left but have run out of inspiration!12 -
Absolutely beautiful - so pleased to see them. Well done!3

Those are amazing @Miró! Such lovely yarns too.
You must get huge amounts of experience from your intensive knitting, which I suppose contributes to your ability to make it up as you go along but I'm so impressed that you an do this!

I went to see two films this week at my new local cinema but the seats are very uncomfortable compared to the cinema seats I usually sit in at the 02 in London!
I went to a few chazzers in Southend yesterday before the second film to look for a cushion to bring in with me. I finally found one at Havens Hospice shop for £2. It was white and had a cute bird pattern. It really made a difference and I felt much more comfortable in my seat for the movie.:)
I am still looking for a denim skirt I really like but I didn't find one but I did find some Dotty P denim shorts for £4 that I snapped up. I think that was the British Heart Foundation shop.9 -
Many thanks for the kind comments
Yesterday's trawl round the local chazza shops has left me rather bemused and confused! First find was quite normal...a lovely Hobbs dress, fitted stylee in navy with dark turquoise spots, as new and £5 in the Community Chazza. I do love me some Hobbs!!
Then in the Cat's Protection Chazza I saw a brand new, still cellophane wrapped box of Carven, Ma Griffe E.D.P. 100ml priced at £2. Now I have fallen for buying seemingly new perfumes before that have turned out to be old, rank smelling and definitely 'gone orft' but for £2 I thought it was worth the risk. Having purchased it, on the way out, I then noticed another identical box on another shelf at a similar price. Really curious by now I sat on a bench a bit further on and opened the box to try the E.D.P. and it was fine...a lovely fresh 'green' fragrance with a hint of jasmine and rose. So then I quickly dashed back and purchased the other box. Later I had a squiz online and was stunned to find it selling on EBay for £269,Have also seen it since on other sites for slightly less too. My 'perfume bible' tells me that this perfume was discontinued a few years ago but then made again for a short while with a slightly different formula and is rare to find now. Sooooo, I dunno, is it a copy? Anyhoo, I love it and for £2 per bottle dunno why I'm worrying.......

I tend to buy only clothes from charity shops but I did branch out today and got this small jug.
It's stamped " hand thrown in Bristol" in the base.
Excuse the grubby window, there is building work opposite!

I love the colours! Smitten by the windowsill too, reminds me of church floor tiling.6

@DigForVictory - it is church floor tiling! (Bought from a salvage yard, not pinched from a church).10
