Sorry to bump the old thread but I thought I'd pop up with an update on my net loss of clothing challenge. 
I must say it's enlightening to write everything down, and I have excluded sportswear as I discovered running in the Spring and needed to get kitted out (all from the CSs and jumble sales though).

Final scores: 83 items in (  keep that to yourselves please; I've not admitted it to anyone else) but 96 out so challenge completed! I did also keep track of how much I'd spent on all my new goodies but neglected to note what I'd made selling the old stuff on- that's an enormous eye-opener let me tell you.
