Yesterday, best chazza find ever!!!!!  A b/n fleece covered hot water bottle   75p in the Community shop.  No heating in my bedroom, (through choice - can't breathe properly in a heated bedroom!).  Started out using one HWB....now will be absolutely festooned with these things about my person as this will be no. 4

I don't like our bedroom being too warm either.

Very happy to find a M&S 100% cashmere long-line jumper in black, fuchsia and light/dark grey stripes.
£2.00 Barnados.
I thought it was cashmere when I first touched it.
Glasses on confirmed it and a thorough check for holes decided the purchase.
It's currently snuggling up against our Xmas beef joint in the freezer.

Makes sense as being rubber they will harden with age which is why the eventually split I guess.  Good reason for me to chuck out MiL's which she had for about 4 years rather than donate it.  

I wonder if there's any reason to not use the grain filled alternatives?  I would suppose they could go moldy if left too damp.

That is a v good question!! Much as I don't enjoy proper meals, I am a little obsessed with tea, coffee and cake and will indulge in the liquid element at least 4 times a day. But even so 10 is a high tally.

I would guess at a coffee pot, especially as it went through the dishwasher without fear for the electrics! But what a handsome beastie, what an alluring shape! And it's come up beautifully.

At last I have found the Lloyds Bank green top I have been looking for for ages. A M & S v-neck jumper £4. Synthetic as I can’t wear wool.
Next Silver possibly leather baseball boots. With a star on the side. £5
pink Duffs laces (possibly for the baseball boots) 99p.

Look at the lines, the gloss, the I can drop this & not have to fetch a dustpan! OK I remain a Denbyholic but if the other 9 have even half this one's charm I can see why you have several!
P.S. have just checked the hot water bottle son bought me and it's a bright modern 2022 vintage - he wants to know when did I start checking Hot Water Bottles for basestamps, but we all remember the skin graft his brother needed after a seizure. (burn, seconds: hospital visits, For Months) Thank you!

I did a declutter last night and I have 2 big bags to drop off this week.

I threw away my old hot water bottle after reading the warnings on here. Luckily I bought two brand new ones this year. The one I threw away was the long style of hot water bottle so I kept the fleecy cover as I thought that would work as a scarf to wear around the house if it gets cold again.

I may have a quick look around the shop when I'm dropping the bags off.:)

I did look at the lines and gloss.
It's absolutely fabulous.
I did see a Denby design in it but can't recall it.
