Yesterday, best chazza find ever!!!!! A b/n fleece covered hot water bottle
75p in the Community shop. No heating in my bedroom, (through choice - can't breathe properly in a heated bedroom!). Started out using one HWB....now will be absolutely festooned with these things about my person as this will be no. 4

Good bargain, Miro.
I caught this segment on This Morning a few weeks ago, may be worth a read: for people using hot water bottles:

Very happy to find a M&S 100% cashmere long-line jumper in black, fuchsia and light/dark grey stripes.
£2.00 Barnados.
I thought it was cashmere when I first touched it.
Glasses on confirmed it and a thorough check for holes decided the purchase.
It's currently snuggling up against our Xmas beef joint in the freezer.9 -

I wonder if there's any reason to not use the grain filled alternatives? P.S. have just checked the hot water bottle son bought me and it's a bright modern 2022 vintage - he wants to know when did I start checking Hot Water Bottles for basestamps, but we all remember the skin graft his brother needed after a seizure. (burn, seconds: hospital visits, For Months) Thank you!7 -
I did a declutter last night and I have 2 big bags to drop off this week.
I threw away my old hot water bottle after reading the warnings on here. Luckily I bought two brand new ones this year. The one I threw away was the long style of hot water bottle so I kept the fleecy cover as I thought that would work as a scarf to wear around the house if it gets cold again.
I may have a quick look around the shop when I'm dropping the bags off.:)4 -

It's absolutely fabulous.
I did see a Denby design in it but can't recall it.
Wishing you all the best.4
