Oooooh, I've had some fabulous linens and curtains from this shop in the past! Sunday's jaunt to the 3 chazza shops open in Thirsk saw me come away with a pair of B/N Hotter trainer stylee shoes in a metallic brown colour priced at £8. Found 'em online priced at £99!!!! Just hope they don't develop a case of 'crumbing soles'CAFCGirl said:The CS gods were smiling on me.

Today has been such a perfect summers day! I wandered down to the local Havens outlet earlier and bought a lovely summer dress, some jeans and a make-up purse (she'll probably use it for her colouring pencils) for my little niece. Also a blouse for my mum so all worked it well.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.6 -
best use for it!!Rosa_Damascena said:

Nice scarf!
Yesterday's trip to donate items to the local chazzer was unexpectedly fruitful - I came out with some crafting pieces and 3 hardback books for my little niece, and a nice chat with the manager, who I hadn't see for months! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Would you sell it to me for £2?? Nice little profit for you!!!Pollycat said:

Serious scarf envy! And a LoL too!!!
My mom always had a thing about LoL which I must ask her about (which she may not now remember). It's odd as she was determined to go there when my folks visited the UK years back (50+ years?) so I can only assume she knew someone who had some of their stuff or some fancy shop had their blouses etc in Toronto. I still have the scarf she bought me on that trip - I've worn it so many times including while hiking in the alps. It's a fine cotton fabric square with a very delicate pastel floral print.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. It was tied on a rail with lots of other scarves, all priced at £1.99.
I was pretty sure it was special when I touched it and then when I saw the label...
And no...I won't sell it.
I do have the most fabulous silk scarf that I bought from eBay with Japanese-style flowers on a pale pink background, that's always been my favourite but I think this will take its place.6 -
Well you can't blame me for trying!!!Pollycat said:
