So glad someone asked what the picture was as I hadn't a clue!!!
Found me a nice bargain yesterday in one of the two Cancer Research shops in Northallerton. My clock/radio has been going rogue lately, firing off alarms and radio progs unexpectedly at all hours of the day and night. I priced up the sort I wanted to replace it with but couldn't bring myself to pay over £50 for a Phillips one. Could not believe my eyes when I spotted just what I wanted sitting on the shelf in the chazza priced at £6.50!! No destruction book but I managed to find it online and it seems to be working fine....twas PAT tested of course!10 -
I'm on a roll today. From the Red Cross, Stourport:

White stuff red dress - £8

Its a dish rack with a micro fibre drying mat - they usually retail BN for much more. It will save my granite work surfaces from the scourge of lime scale. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.5 -

Got three tops over the last couple of days. A TU white cotton 'bobble' sweater, appears new and 99p, a dark turquoise sweatshirt top, BNWT also 99p - both from the Otley St Gemma's Hospice shop. Today, from the Community chazza, an M & S bottle green/patterned blouse with a 'gathered into elastic' neck and voluminous sleeves gathered into a zippered cuff, £1.50 on the half price rail, (got just the right bottle green jeans to go with it too!)8
