I never go in Primark as the ones near me were always rammed with people. I was actually thinking of going to a car boot sale as you can usually get some bargains there.:)goldfinches said:
I've bought most of mine from Primark over the years but my nicest and snuggest one was a remnant on the bargains table at a local fabric shop.Wednesday2000 said:
That is exactly what I'm looking for, probably grey as well to match my sofa. I'm using a thick black scarf/pashmina (also a chazzer buy) at the moment as a sofa blanket, but I want something larger.:)Cherryfudge said:Thirsk Cancer Research shop today: bought a thick grey throw to use as a sofa blanket in the colder months, £4.50. It called my name because it goes so well with the carpet in the lounge and should be very snuggly.3 -
I bought two black tops and a silver (costume) necklace from the PDSA shop today. It was £7.50 which I thought was okay.
I did go back to that hospice charity shop again and I was specifically looking at labels. I saw a Wallis dress that I saw last time, but it wasn't really my thing. I did see two Coast dresses and a Karen Millen dress but they weren't my style again, annoyingly so I didn't buy anything there.2025 GOALS

four of these for the German hubbie. $2.99!
green german grape pattern shot glasses - Bing images
Another tea towel for the collection/aka horde $1.99 University of Indiana, who knew they'd have a tea towel.
A hand embroidered dresser cloth $2.99. I actually use them, unfortunately, they are few and far between. Usually grabbed by resellers who then list them for $$$ on the online selling sites.
A wolf cross stitch kit complete with threads (the original owner has even bound the fabric edges, just never got started), a tapemeasure, 5 knitting needles, two reels of thread, two crochet doilies, two hoops, and something that i think might have been used on tracing paper. $2.99
Then it turns out it was seniors discount Tuesday and I got 15% off!

I'd have bought all those if I'd been 5 minutes in front of you. Great bargains.Potternerd said:A Boden pale pink hoodie with a lovely snuggly lining £5

I was thinking it is strange as we used to know the same charity shops back in London and now we must live fairly close again. I'm not stalking you, I promise. Lol. I am going to Liverpool Street this week and I will stop in at that chazzer near the Whitechapel Gallery that we both know.:)Rosa_Damascena said:I sense geography-specific competition. If I made it your neck of the woods, you'd have to take pretty china out of my hands. I'm a sucker for anything with thistles, and any flower but roses.Rosa_Damascena said:I sense geography-specific competition. Books, linens of any types.
Oh, and wicker. I came home with one of those bow shaped wicker baskets a while back, the kind that people always say they used back in the 60s to take items to school.
