Lovely lamp!:)
I did the opposite of chazzer shopping today as I gave my husband a donation bag today to clear out a few things I don't need.5 -
Fabulous vintage baubles, florianatwobob 😁 We have lots of similar ones that belonged to my parents. We usually hang them on a small vintage ('50s) Christmas tree I found on fleabay a few years back.
Had a quick trawl of the Llandeilo charity shops on Saturday in the hope of finding that coat I'm after, but no luck. Didn't see anything remotely worth buying in any of them, tbh.6 -
@liberty_lily we’ve still got some that my mum bought for my eldest brother’s first Christmas. The one legged fairy will also once again top the tree (for her 58th consecutive year). She’s had a new dress or two and new wings over the years.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Popped into the local Sue Ryder shop for a brief visit in a hurry today - came out with a digital photo frame. OH was saying the other week we need to do something with all the digital photos we have but never get to see. Looks fine, if it doesn't work then it's only £4 spent and it's gone to a good cause.
OH went into the chazzer near MIL's house to warm up (her boiler died so it's been off for a month or so) - and found half a dozen glasses which will do very nicely for Titanic meals ( I have a friend who does historical cooking as a hobby) and as he said, at £4 for the lot it would be rude not to!2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

Need to have strong words with him indoors. I love that he thinks to look at the online charity shops to get me presents. And I love that he knows that I love scarves, silk in particular. And cats. So a silk scarf with cats on it seems a natural. And it's designer. But it was also a shocking price. Then again it was for a special birthday so maybe I should forgive him???I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. My one's like that. I can see the elements of his thought process - she likes this animal and that colour, therefore this item will go down a storm. But I look at it and think well I wouldn't have spent all that on myself, but isn't that the point of presents....?
Forgive him, it really is the thought that counts
Edit - Happy special birthday! Why does Sherlock Holmes love Mexican restaurants? Because they give him case ideas.9 -

Is it any consolation that I picked up 5 scarves for 50p each this afternoon? No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.5 -

Have been round a few charity shops in Liverpool.
Not bought anything although I was semi-tempted by a few things.
I did go into an Oxfam shop which was incredibly well stocked. I've never seen so many sheepskin coats in one charity shop.
Bizarrely, nothing had a size label on the hangers.
Far too hard to look through stuff so I bailed out.4
