Pollycat said:Have been round a few charity shops in Liverpool.
Not bought anything although I was semi-tempted by a few things.
I did go into an Oxfam shop which was incredibly well stocked. I've never seen so many sheepskin coats in one charity shop.
Bizarrely, nothing had a size label on the hangers.
Far too hard to look through stuff so I bailed out.3 -

It looked a lovely shop with great stuff.
But unfortunately I didn't have the time to spend looking through racks and racks of random sizes.
If I lived local, I'd spend ages in there,
They did have the DUO boots that Miro mentioned a few pages back.
I also went in one called Take 2 on Bold Street.Rosa_Damascena said:My Ab Fab £1 kettle straight out of the dishwasher:
I don't know about 'Ab' but it's certainly 'Fab'!

Guess what the postman just brought! I daren't take them out of the bags in case I can’t reseal them. I’ll wrap them and put them under the tree -from Santa 😊
Thanks for the recommendation @pollycat @miro (?) I’m impressed with them already 🙂
I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.10 -

Miro echoed my recommendation.
Fast service?
My OH & friends were gob-smacked when I told then the UGG style boots I was wearing had come all the way from New Zealand just a few days after ordering.

Just checked my emails - ordered 23/11/22, so longer than yours but it was a long way to come and I expect (hope) they're busy for xmas
I spent ages trying to find ones most like the ones I already have. I liked this feature but not that feature etc. And I was messing about leaving stuff in the online basket to come back to in case they took some money off ha haa! But there was a sale one, and I've actually spent less on these 2 pairs than I would have on the ones I was gonna buy myself from the other shop. So thanks again folksI removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.7 -
@Pollycat @YoungBlueEyes Dunno if you will find/found this with the NZ sheepskin footwear.....my boots have always felt a bit tight to start off with, (probs cos the sheepskin is soooo thick), but soon bed down to a nice comfy/cozy 'boingy' state. Those Duo boots in my Oxfam are not selling, they all seem to be odd sizes, (very small or very big), and have oddly proportioned legs, (very big calves with teeny tiny ankles). Bit overpriced too!
Zilch finds this week.....4 -
Time will tell so I'll let you know after christmas day @Miro
The website did say about the tightness so you should order a size bigger. Which I did for both pairs.
I'm desperate to wear mine now, it's cold today and suddenly my slippers seem not to be very warm....I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.5 -

I'm going to be a good girl and wait. Patience is a virtue and all that....I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.3
