Brilliant bargains @Pollycat and @Miró.
Sorry to hear of your family tribulations @Brie, might an international removals firm be worth talking to about the Limoges?
Here are my latest finds, the cook book is a collection of recipes garnered by researchers from the poorest in many countries around the world, I felt it might come in handy over the next few months so paid £2 for it. The Charlotte M. Yonge is one I've never managed to find before so well worth £2.49. The cardigan is an M&S 100% cotton one so good for layering and I also snapped up a Uniqlo thermal turtle neck as I live in those in cold weather.
Then yesterday I found this copy in the BHF shop for a mere £5.50. Hilariously, while the cover is rather splattered and sticky the inside pages are all in pristine condition. I'm so glad I didn't buy the one in the window of the Barnardo's branch as they had priced it at £20!

Apparently any company talks about $2500 plus to move stuff so I'll need to think about what I can do via the airline. I'm going to take some teacups, possibly as carry on, and then I be silverware which includes steak knives so NOT carry on!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I'm on a roll!
Bought this jacket for OH yesterday for £6.00 local hospice. Pockets still stitched up.
And a M&S short dress with pockets (perfect with boots and opaques). Different branch of same hospice. £6.00.9 -

I bought it for the colours which match the curtains.3 -
@Brie - if no-one else in the family wants the Limoges and it isn't worth trying to sell it then whatever you do is perfectly alright. I googled and this page on fleabay looks potentially useful Polystyrene Shipping & Moving Boxes for sale | eBay
@Pollycat - that's some roll. I wondered if the jacket had the little stem tube behind the lapel as well as the buttonhole but regardless it's a great find."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

I saw these animal print boots the other day and wasn't sure about them. I was trying to kill time as the electrician is at my house and stopped in at the shop. This shop isn't cheap so that all came to £32.
The slipper boots are brand new though. The dressing gown is underneath and it was in the men's section but I will wear it. Another light scarf to wear in the house, butterfly print.

Managed to rein in my chazza spending a bit today but it was a struggle. I did buy 4 x packs of 'knee highs' 2 x black & 2 x skin tone...all from difference brands and mostly packs of 5 pairs. Total cost £2. Also got a leather cross body strap for a handbag for 20p. My near downfall was a b/n pair of M & S tan ankle boots in a gorgeous leather and priced at £25. They were my normal size but somehow my toes stopped but the boots kept on going for another inch and a half!!! This enabled me to talk myself out of buying them.8

I thought I might get a bit of a break during the day for chazzer-trawling this week, but no such luck (yet). Although its only been Saturday since I last visited that was not fruitful and I am getting withdrawal symptoms

I stopped in at my favourite BHF shop on the way home from M*rks and Sains today and bought a green silicon ice cube tray with swirly star shapes for £1.50 as I rather fancied the shapes would look nice in my drinks. It's the bottom right hand one in the first photo on this fleabay posting as I'm feeling too lazy to go to the kitchen and take a photo of mine. 4 x Ice cube Trays IKEA PLASTIS Silicone Shaped Moulds jelly wax melt stars fish | eBay
NB I didn't buy an Oxo splatter guard with a folding handle as the guard was hugely unwieldy and didn't look as though it would stay put on the top of a pan properly. I also rejected a metal spice tin with inner lidded pots as I couldn't remove the top easily so, in a way, I've saved money (if you squint sideways)."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
