. I just want someone to take it off my hands!! Tried offering it to the wardrobe depts of our local theatres and to animal rescue centres, (was told they use real fur for comforting young orphaned animals) but no takers so I keep taking it out of the wardrobe, checking it over, sighing and shoving it back again……12 years of this routine now

Remember when we spoke about fingerless gloves etc etc ?
Here is a good deal on them - they're a great idea for a special Christmas present FACTORY SECONDS Cashmere Fingerless Gloves from Turtle Doves | eBay
It's easy to just sew up a tiny hole inconspicuously.
From experience i know that seconds are not glaringly big defects and usually not even noticeable, manufacturer quality control is always stringent and bargains can be had !10 -
Oooh I bought some of their seconds and they arrived last week @[Deleted User] one had a tiny hole caused by a dropped stitch. Easily fixed✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

The pockets are still stitched up and the back pleat is too.
And this glass for my sister. It feels really nice in your hand. £1.50 local hospice.11 -

He's not tried it on yet. I'm sure he's going to say 'take it back' (I can get a full refund).
But he does have a few similar overcoats including my probably best ever charity shop bargain of a genuine Crombie coat for £15.00.
ETA:
It fits and looks really smart.
He's keeping it.9 -
That is a nice coat, good shape. I was looking at that cute panda behind the coat. I used to have a teddy like that.:)4

The panda is Mummy & baby.
I bought it from the panda sanctuary in Chengdu, China.3 -

Went a bit bonkers today after a lean time of it in the chazza shops lately. From The Cats Protection shop I got some E de P, Secret Obsession by Calvin Klein, 100ml, BNIB for £10, (seems to sell for around £32 - just hope it's the real thing...smells nice tho). Then in the St Gemma's Hospice Shop I found a pair of Uniqlo, navy ankle grazer trousers for £2.99, they have a bit of stretch in them so will use them for walking, (Ha! totteringing more like, these days!). Seem to think this make is quite pricy?? Lastly in the Sue Ryder Hospice shop...my biggest splurge... a pair of Rockfish, lazy lace, water repellant sneakers with blingy gold eyelets and brand name, BNIB and £15....seem to sell for £39.99 usually.7
