The car boot season is over for the year... I guess I won't be around as often but I'm still reading. Happy hunting one and all (and I will still haunt charity sops so I may report back from time to time).I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Also love the shoes! Hope you have better luck with that make than I did tho. I got a pair of Geox Respira loafers recently and just this very week have found the uppers coming away from the soles and the soles are crumbling and disintegrating! Keep an eye on them……Pollycat said:A new pair of Geox Respira brogues. £8.00 local hospice.

I've had this happen with a pair of Clarks shoes and have read reports about Hotters too.
Seems to be when you don't wear them very often.
As a self-confessed shoe-a-holic (I have 66 pairs of boots, 22 pairs of trainers, 20 pairs of shoes and 60 pairs of sandals) I don't wear my footwear very regularly.
I sold a pair of Skechers and a pair of DMs on ebay yesterday.8 -

I have 2 shoe wardrobes with drop down doors with 6 shelves in each in a spare bedroom. I also have pairs stored in boxes in 3 of my double built-in wardrobes.Wednesday2000 said:
OMG, that must be difficult to store. You must have good storage in your house.:)Pollycat said:
I have an Excel spreadsheet that tells me exactly where any pair is - that's how I know how many pairs I have.
Oh...the shame.

I had a chazzer / home furnishing-trawl with Mum yesterday - was such a beautiful day we walked from Leigh to Southend and back. I did finally get to browse in Cornerstone and picked up a couple of books for 10p each. St Vincents still not open which is a disappointment as I would have liked to have had a browse. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.3 -
